Why do people keep saying this, there is a massive difference between the TZ7 and TZ10

1. The TZ7 blurs when you zoom in, the TZ10 does not.
2. The TZ10 has GPS, the TZ7 Does not.
3. The TZ10 has better control over manual settings.... Guess what. The TZ7 doesnt.

And also I was able to buy a blue, red or black one at no extra cost, not like the TZ7.

I got mine from photosense, for 275.00 - 30.00 cash back, sent in the receipt, even though I bought on line and said I seen a demo, which I did, just not at photosense, the T&C does not say I had to buy it at the place I had the demo. Cashback given.

so you would upgrade if you had a tz7..if not then buy the tz7.
1.not a massive difference as tz10 also blurs on full zoom
2. gps is a gimmick and drains the already not so brilliant battery life
3. As for the manual control ... would rather get an slr if you are going to use these alot.
I have a canon s90 ... okay the zoom is not that long but image quality especially in low light is in a different league. f2.0 is a very fast lens. s90 can be had for £270 after £30 cashback which canon are offering. did try the tz10 for a day before giving it back.
My advice would be try these out at a camera store such as jessops before purchasing.

I have just gotten off holiday and found my TZ10 amazing, you must not own a TZ10, or maybe mine is different, as mine never blurred once, and cant see any you tube videos of it blurring,

Battery life, mine lasted 3 days, turning off and on, and taking video and pics, yes maybe not a 100 a day, but took at least 20 a day, and also getting back to the hotel and watching the video and looking at pics.............

OH AND IT LOOKS DAMN SEXY :whistling:

yep don't own it as said in my previous reply tried it for a day and sent it back. I also have a d700 so picture quality is very important to me, especially low light hence the s90 which is way better than the tz10 but nowhere near my d700 but there is a big price difference between the 2.
enjoy your tz10
