With all the TZ10 deals on HUKD recently and mention in other posts of a new Lumix TZ in February next year, I think there may be even better deals on this excellent camera in the forthcoming post Christmas Sales.
I'm going to hang on in the hope that may get even better deal than the Bestbuy £155 deal recently.
The £30 Panasonic cashback deal is valid as long as you purchase before 19th January 2011 too, so that is my cut off point.
Anyone have similar thoughts or do I risk ending up with no TZ10 at all? !!oO

I got this camera when it came out. Cost me £300 back then. I knew I should have waited :P Fantastic camera though :)

The Best Buy deal is still valid isn't it? Thought it was slightly cheaper? The silver one on that site is 219 plus cashback and quidco?

Gosh I just want to buy this camera already but somethings stopping me. This or the Canon? Also how do I actually get the cashback? Is it on the site??

Thanks

I would highly recommend this camera, great point and shoot but also great features for the more artistic shots :p Camera has HD video recording which is a great plus!
Took some great photos and videos with this camera!

BastBuy black / silver £230.00 (were £218.00 with now expired code)

http://www.bestbuy.co.uk/Catalog/Browse.aspx?Path=&SearchKeyword=tz10&ResultPageNumber=0&CategoryId=&SortBy=&SearchType=GlobalKeyword&SearchResultsLayout=ListLayout&NumberOfResultsPerPage=12

£230.00 - £34.00 (Quidco) - £30.00 (Panasonic c/b) = £166.00

Cashback here

i have bought 3 now for various family. Best deal was the £119.99 Harrods deal, then the best buy @£155 then the amazon £167 plus free case. (all prices include the £30 rebate taken off) panasonic have been really speedy with the cash back as well, i have had 2 out of 3 already. Where on the other hand my sony rebate is still to appear.

I'm also holding out until the New Year sales to see if prices drop further as, like you say, got till 19th Jan to make a decision and I doubt the TZ10 is going to completely sell out...

way too big

I agree that this is a really good camera although I recently cancelled a TZ10 and went for the S95 instead. Horses for courses of course, but I don't think most people would be disappointed with the full auto mode of the TZ10, it takes amazing photographs.

The GPS is a little pants though, according to reviews.

Too big :/
#14
Looking at the reviews there is some concern as to the quality of photos taken in low light situations. For this reason I didn't but one when the Best Buy deal was on. I'd like the S95 but it's a little too pricey at the moment.
#15
I have recently got this camera and im blown away by the auto mode and overall results - I have a semi pro DSLR, so when I say im impressed, im comparing the results to quality equipment I already have !!...so it really is good.

I can understand why others might be waiting......but....(OK its not a huge amount) VAT is on the up for the new year.......
#16
Hmm what to do, great price but will it drop further?!

Also slightly worried about some if the low light reviews, but there aren't many compacts out there that are great in low light. I currently have a Canon Ixus 850IS, would anyone know if the tz10 low light pics be as good as this (I'm hankering after the extra zoom on the tz10). Thanks :)

Bought from Amazon at £207, status 'shipped 14 Dec', still hasn't shown up and now we're buried under snow. Don't rely on them if it's a Christmas present!

Any idea where I appeal for the later price?

Price drop offer finished a while back, however might be worth emailing them and ask. Failing that refuse delivery (if it ever appears) then reorder, or better still wait till after Christmas where I think we might see further price drops Amazon / BB (although VAT increase might make up for that)

Oh dear - that's not good news. Maybe a caution to others if they want it for Christmas.

Gone up £6.41.........now £207.40.
Wait until the sales are on & hopefully will be much better price than this. However, must buy before 19th Jan to get the £30 Panasonic cashback!

Creeping up......now £215.99! Getting ready to go back down for the sales???
Besford, Have you had yours arrive yet?
#29
I paid £7 for express delivery despatched monday, still not arrived, think i want my £7 back! x
#30
£217.40 today!
#31
I will get one when the price drops, I keep watching
#32
It's back at this price again, just purchased!
#33
Those hoping for better deals just before the 19th - have you considered that it will automatically jump by 2.5% on Jan 1st due to the extra VAT. It was £215.99 for quite a few days until today when it dropped by £15 to the same price as the OP posted.

So all things being equal, on Jan 1st it'll be £206 or thereabouts.

still not got below £200 yet
