This company has some bad reviews. I was going to purchase a camera from them a few months ago but decided against it after reading some reviews.

Click

And some of the positive guest reviews smell a bit fishy to me.

import...bought a uk version from amazon

for a compact its pretty good in daylight and movies are good....nightshots are a joke though....but pics are laughable compared to any dslr

if i bought another compact id go for canon (my wifes canon ixus 980is takes miles better pics than the tz10 which is good but massively overrated by clueless people)

I've just had a glance on Amazon.com and this camera is going for $199.99 (£124), why do us brits have to pay so much more?! :(

20% VAT to bail out the bank and a currency now worth 25% less thank to the failed banks

199.00 USD = 122.858 GBP

So £123 +20% Vat is £147.60

Then there is EU duty for VCRs 4.9% etcc

http://www.amateurphotographer.co.uk/news/eu_import_duty_to_hit_future_digital_cameras_news_130299.html

But that still leaves £50!! price difference!

I suppose the warrantee in the US might be less?

I've seen this at all levels for camera kit a Canon L lens is much cheaper in the USA. I suppose that's why these grey imports make sense.

Stay clear of Camerabox

agree with robot1000s above comment.

cannon camera I got in 2005, 4mp a520 still takes photos that look great even though the flash takes for ever to recharge.
#9
Did they make another a520 with wide angle and long zoom that might be comparable to this?

Or are you comparing apples and oranges.

Tz10 r £189.99 tesco instore. Seen in blackpool

Dont think the 5 year warranty is worth the paper its written on, after year 2 you need to pay for the repair which on average is £100 a pop

Stay clear of this company. They are fraudsters.
