That is a good price, but for the extra £20 it's worth going for the TZ40 at Curry's

I agree the TZ40 at £149 is a great price but only if you can still find one in stock! This is a good alternative as it's £20 less, there are lots in stock, and the features it lacks from the TZ40 are not essential (Touch Screen, GPS and Wi-Fi)

Had the TZ10 and the Tz35 and now the 40 , the 40 feels cheaper tbh but great cameras

Hot for me.

Guys, bought TZ40 at Heathrow Airport in the Dixons Travel shop for £139.00. So if you are going anywhere holiday this summer then in the case of you need a camera then hold off and buy from the Airport lounge.

Anyone know where else you can get the Tz40 for £140? Currys are all out.

PC world is the same shop but maybe has different stocks nearer to you? worth a check.

or a shop like John lewis that would do a price match? A Local camera shop perhaps?

John Lewis don't stock it and the Currys website automatically searches PCWorld - none there either.

A lot of camera for the money. Heat.

got one from previous Argos reduction to £129. Nice camera. Hasn't the 40 got frequently commented on firmware problems?
#13
Still own and use my TZ7 with it's full metal body and reluctant to upgrade as the new ones feel cheap and flimsy.
#14
Isn't there a £10 voucher as the price is over £100?
#15
All TZ's in our family. Great cameras but unfortunately all sat in drawers due to fantastic cameras on Samsung and Iphones. Looks like the compact camera maybe had it's day. Heat still added though.

It's not really had a proper outing yet but from the few test shots I've done, it's ok. not amazingly bright but I assume there are some setting to change that anyway.

I agree. I bought one of these for less than £100 in Sainsburys after seeing a deal on here. TZ 40 has wifi and gps I think so well worth the extra

A pain, but no worse than others I've seen. Salesmen inevitably say you don't need a viewfinder for bright sunlight but inevitably I do. Don't understand why they're so rare nowadays.
TZ 35 is a great camera but I'm glad I kept my tiny Canon Ixus 100 for bright sunshine. Or my Nikon D5100.

Purely in terms of picture and video quality, which camera would you buy ....

Panasonic Lumix TZ35 or Samsung WB350F
