The header says it all. Great camera for a great price. Just bought one instore (Exeter), but then spotted it online too. If you're looking to buy a pocket-sized camera - you won't find a better choice then a Panasonic TZ.
Someone may say that TZ5 is out there for a while now, but with no useful difference in functionality/size etc why pay 35+ quid more?

I have had a TZ5 for about 10 months now and its cracking. However I went for the TZ5 over the TZ4 because I wanted the HD 720 movie mode and to be honest I use this the most, so for me the TZ5 is worth the extra. However for just piccies, the TZ4 will be great and a good price, so hot hot hot.

I've got the TZ3 which I bought around a year ago.

The shots in good light are absolutely stunning, the only dissapointment i've found with the TZ series is the night time capabilities.

However, this deal is a good one. Excellent camera for the price, and definately a step-up for those who would like to take some more 'serious' pictures.

Hot from me.

funny that some people still vote this cold tho...

I have a previous model; a few less mpixels. Takes good pics but you really miss a view finder in bright light, you can not see the picture you are taking.

I have just ordered a TZ5 from littlewoods direct for £179.98 less discount using a code found on this website.
much better spec 9.1 megapixel and the ability to record HD movie footage, well worth the extra money !

Give the correct link before you critisize others. Your link still doesn't work. When I searched on the Currys site £159 came up.

this TZ4 is my 3rd camera (I do part-time photography) and I've tested TZ5 before. "Much better spec" is a harsh saying, you'll hardly spot the difference between full-size pics of TZ4 and TZ5 even being a professional designer. "HD movie footage" is indeed worth extra money - but only for those who actually use it any often. But then buying a photo camera to do video is a bit like buying a phone to do photos: it is possible, but too many cons :)

what a shame good camera andprice

totally untrue about the tz5 - i have one and has much better video (you can zoom now!!! can't on this one) and also the CCD is greatly improved as there was bad noise difficulties with tz4. - ebuyer has tz 5 at 170 or so I think. not voting cold though as it is a great camera anywa, we are agreed on that.

The firmware is dated June 2008, Id be surprised if the new cameras dont already have this as standard.....but I could be wrong....and often am :-)

I have the TZ5 stuck on back-order at Jessops for £167.35 with £4 or so validated on Quidders...I think they want me to cancel it as they have gone up to £199 now !

If you stretch an extra £40 then Pixmania are doing the TZ4 with an extra battery, case and 4GB HCSD for £189.99.
It also comes with a 2yr warranty from Pixmania.
