Hi
Thanks for posting. I have added an image to your post.
This is a link, made by rayman, which explains how to add images in great detail. It’s worth taking a look at if you are going to post more deals in future : - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/339941/how-to-post-and-host-images-for-thr/

what makes you say that (the price)?

Excellent camera for daylight shots and video is superb! Not so hot on flash photos (in my opinion).
#15
I was tempted to get this for around the £300 mark a few months ago, very hot deal
#16
Nice!

Beware. I bought the TZ6 following an offer found on this site and the results were less than stella. Pictures are fine in daylight but incredibly grainy at night despire me playing with the settings. The video is great so long as you arent intending to record any live music events where it It will distort and become unusable with the slightest of bass.

Havent read reviews for this camera and maybe they have resolved the above but thats my 2 cents

Have been watching this camera for a couple of months now in the hope that the price came down, was a bit concerned about battery life after reading reviews online though.

In the end as I wanted a new - decent - camera for a charity football game soon, I decided to get the new 'little brother' to this camera - the Panasonic ZX1 (12MP and 8x zoom) and after a few days and only having it on Intelligent Auto I'm very pleased with it, lovely pics even after cropping. Got my camera from buyacamera.co.uk at £209.99 + £6.99 delivery, excellent service.

Definitely one to compare and consider to the TZ7. :)

a lot of places has this for sale at under £249, so it might be slighly cheaper here but nothing to get so excited about

Just been looking at this model and it seems a perfect (less expensive) alternative to the TZ7. Here is a link to the ZX1 preview and some sample pictures (hard to find for this camera at the moment). http://www.letsgodigital.org/en/22669/panasonic-lumix-zx1-review/

What's the battery life like so far k7thj ?

more a comment on the camera than the deal, got the tz6 a while back, it really is good, not spotted problems in low light more then you'd expect with any camera really...

tis the best price i've seen the tz7 for so far, although they do seem to have started dropping across the board.

got mine as a cheapo import of the US zs1 off a uk ebay co.
i'd guess looking out for the zs3 might start throwing up a few similar deals.

Manufacturer's guarantee is 12 months even if Jessops went under.

I got it Thursday and have probably used it a couple of hours in total so far - with lots of zooming in and out - with the unexpected sunshine this weekend I've been outside a lot trying various shots - not used the video yet, but the battery is still showing full charge, and at the local footie game yesterday I tried the auto focus tracking and that worked a treat. Am waiting on a sandisk extreme card coming to see how that goes in the camera.

Thanks for the link, you're right about the lack of info about this camera, but with the photos I've taken so far with very little practice I'm very hopeful about it's potential, it's also nice and compact so easy to take with you out and about.

Was £228 at Amazon a few days ago, so IMHO this is no great deal. http://gadgetspy.co.uk/cameras/panasonic-lumix-tz7-digital-camera-black/2399?gclid=CIb_45nd8JwCFWIB4wodSyzpkQ

I'm convinced it will hit nearer the £200 come Xmas - when I will buy [TZ7]

Darn, I just bought one a couple of weeks back from Play for £250. I should've waited :x

Got me thinking now as had earlier decided on a TZ7 to replace the TZ3 I sold a few months back but now need to do some more research on the ZX1!

Decisions, decisions! :whistling:

Thanks.

Picked mine up today. Not a bad camera, but I was surprised that it lacked some features that my 5yr old Pentax Digi camera has. No Tiff or alternative to Jpeg is a bit pants.
#39
That's because nobody wants that on this class of camera, like other things which have disappeared, such as hot shoes and viewfinders.
