A fabulous follow up to the highly acclaimed TZ5 from Panasonic, definately a cut or two above the average consumer camera brand.

No doubt the price of this fairly recent model will continue to fall but this is the first time I've seen it under £300 at a national high street chain (was £349 then £329. Still £329 at DSG).

Full specs on the link but a key feature is a Leica 12x zoom lens with 25mm equivalent wide angle in a camera hardly any bigger than many pocket sized ones. If you have just one camera this should probably be it!

Don't know if the SUMMER10 and SUMMER20 codes still work (latter would need another £1 spend to bring it to £300, then gives £20 off).

Hi
Thanks for posting. I have added an image to your post.
This is a link, made by rayman, which explains how to add images in great detail. It’s worth taking a look at if you are going to post more deals in future : - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/339941/how-to-post-and-host-images-for-thr/

Well worth it for photography but go for the Samsungs if they're going to play football with it!

Is it worth upgrading from my TZ5?

Just sold my girlfriends TZ5 for £165 on eBay, so they're still fetching a good price..

Just a note.
That you can upgrade the firmware on the TZ7 BUT version 1.2 stops you using third party batteries (if you want a spare).
Panasonic ones are expensive.

This was way cheaper about 2 months ago - panasonic has upped its prices on this model by circa £50 - I guess exchange rate issues - so very cold from me - way to much for this camera...... if you want to spend £300 buy Nikon p6000 for £279 or less.....

£289.99 at Play; £268.99 at Dabs (plus shipping?). Neither appears to have the black one though, just in case that's important.

If someone has a cheaper source TODAY please post as it may help someone else.

Shame cos you could probably get it fixed for less money than buying this camera  but seriously ihmo whilst this deal is a good price now it makes this camera too expensive relative to other models............

£250 seems to be cheapest I can find on web for black model. Want to get one of these myself especially due to the HD video recording!!
