Hi, was just checking prices of TV's (again!!) if you add ' review5' in the discount code box on the comet web site the price for this TV is £807.49 making it the cheapest full 1080p 50" TV available? Also and as a bonus I had a panasonic blu ray added for free worth £167... this 'freebie' doesn't seem advertised on the comet web site yet? So think this might be a good deal if you're after a package.. guess you could buy the TV and sell the blu ray if you werent?

Code and 'freebie' blu ray work on 42S11B also... if you are after a smaller TV

nice find, good blu ray offer too
i would post the 42" offer on a seperate thread though for those using search
Was going to do that thanks... but the 42" version can be had for less elsewhere, negating the 'freebie blu ray'... the 50 base price at comet is the best I can find but with the 5% and free blu ray the 50" is a real good buy in my opinion.

42" best price?
50" best price?
the code also works with the 42g15, a cracking TV, bringing it down to £760 (it's £800 at JLewis but 5 yr warranty), and also with the 42G10 which is the same price (huh?) which isn't as good.
how would this TV compare with the other 50inch panny posted at JL?
Im no expert, but I think that the 'U' is below he 'S'... U is still 1080p so is full HD but lacks the anti reflective filter on the screen, a HMDI input + one or two other picture processing features as undertsood.... but I might be wrong?:?
Has anyone bought this TV?
Has anyone bought this TV?

I have done a lot of looking and comparing and for panny 50'' including full hd 1080p with 5 year gtee JL cannot be beaten.

I have today gone for this - incidently I ordered 42G15 and cancelled, also the 42G10 and cancelled.

I have no need for the extra bits and bobs.

If you are after a good 50'' plasma then go the deal at JL :)
The code doesn't appear to be working any more (50S10B is out of stock, so tried on 42S11B):

"Sorry - the code you have entered REVIEW5 is not valid . Please check and try again."

Cheers, Mark.
