Thanks to the op, just ordered one  Ive been after a home theatre setup for ages, ever since we bought a 40" lcd and Ive been holding off hoping for a system with HDMI / optical to come into our price range. After seeing this I thought sod it, Panasonic is a good brand and it looks good value for the money :)

Just had a call after order taken that they are out of stock (even though website stated 84 in stock!) so order cancelled, not least because they would only delivery to my home address, despite nobody being there!

Voted hot, but should have been cold really :x

No optical's looking at the specs, but one digital input.

No good for me, I have 3 digital sources...

Well a tale of good and bad now. As said earlier my order was cancelled, this was done whilst on the phone to IT247 so on the way home from work I thought I'd pop into Currys and have a look what they've got. Turns out they have the exact same system on a "mangers special offer" at £199.99. I felt in a cheeky mood so when the assistant came and asked me if I was "ok there" I said "well yes I am and I am interested in this system but Asda are doing it for £136, can you do anything on price" No questions asked she looked on the Asda site (she had to search by the model number to find it) and it came up at £129.67. After asking the manager, all of 30 seconds, she said thats fine sir we can do it for £129.67, result! :)

I get home, set it up and whilst checking my online banking I notice IT247 have taken the money out for my cancelled order!!! :x So thats me on the phone first thing in the morning because shortly after my telephone conversation stating the order had been cancelled I received a confirmation of cancellation of order email from them!

There's probably a valid excuse but I must say my experience of this company today is leaving a lot to be desired! :-(

p.s. I'd like to add that this is one "kick ass" system, just watching Mission Impossible 3 at the moment and the sound is awesome, in fact I've just had to turn it down for fear of upsetting the neighbours! :-D

I dont understand what your getting at there bibi, I have been told by IT247 that at no time has any money been debited, only authorised for payment yet the money has disapeared from my account! I have since been on the phone to them this morning and been told that it will take up to 7 working days for it to reappear!!!! That is unless I fax over a contact name from my bank along with their fax number and they can "express clear" it. Upon ringing the bank and asking for this explaining what has gone on, I got told this is complete rubbish, a Switch refund is instantanious and that this sounds dodgy!

I would advise not dealing with this company at the moment, I am still waiting to hear back from them but I am starting to get nervous about this. Bank holiday weekend coming up and I am £140+ out of pocket! :x
