This was only £140-£150 online for most of the past six months, so not as good a deal as it first appears.

I went for the 1000w model instead, the PT470 model and haven't regretted it. That was £190 or so in December and is really worth the extra.

330w sounds a lot (especially as its "RMS" output) but the 1000w model is only really just loud enough to watch DVDs properly in an ordinary lounge, so I'd be worried that the 330watt model isn't powerful enough.

Very good unit though. Highly recommended....
I've got this model
Good for small to medium sized living room (mine is about 9x10foot), but agreed you may need more power for a larger room
Amazon have the Panasonic SC-PT160EB 5.1ch Home Cinema System for £159.99 but there are a couple of second bargins being sold for just £95!!

Not the same but still has Panasonics great sound quality!
Well I have looked into this for some time & finally went for the 870 version with the 1000w speakers & 4 x tall boy speakers £282 at Dixons, a better investment in the long run although this was £172 at t
he time I ordered it
