I brought one on Sunday at £149.00 from S&R.

A compact DVD Home Cinema system with 2 speakers and a subwoofer. The SCPTX50 is a superb option if you want to avoid using rear speakers. Picture quality is up to Panasonic's usual high standards, thanks to an hdmi output and DVD upscaling. Featuring Cd playback, rds FM Radio and a usb socket for portable media players, this model also doubles up as a great little HiFi.

2.1 channel DVD home cinema system with HDMI connection, Full 1080p up-conversion and Viera Link for ease of use seamless menu screen.

That's probably why it says "The SCPTX50 is a superb option if you want to avoid using rear speakers." then?

It also has Virtual 5.1 surround sound :)
Some reviews on here:

Seem a good price... although looking on one site, it has steadily risen in price over the past 3 months!
seems like a very good price, I think it is multi region and it has DIVX
Just looking at price comparison site, these systems are going for anything from £250 to £350. Pity this deal is only for people living in Ireland.

Yup Stereo..:whistling:
