We have had a few different ones and this is the best, we bought ours at under £90 though so if you wait you may find it drops again.
This is a good price anyway

My only worry is the urge to get one is strong, but like most of my kitchen gadgets, I dont use them.

How long does a white loaf last before it goes dry?

This model is really easy to use and the bread tastes good.

Bread doesn't last long (not like supermarkets' for sure), 1-2 days tops and gets very hard. If you eat it the same day, get it. Not using mine a lot, maybe once a month.

We bought this machine about 9 months ago and use it 2/3 times a week. The key to storage is to let the loaf cool completely, then store in airtight box - keeps it moist for 3 days. If you enjoy bread you won't go back to supermarket stuff after buying this. And you'll enjoy making bread exactly the way you like it.

I find that a wholemeal loaf, or even a 50/50 loaf stays fresher longer.

Bought the sd-2500 (no nut dispenser) for £29 at Tesco earlier this year, so if you can wait, these thing may be available cheaper.

We use ours 2 to three times a week. The bread is so nice we gave never had it long enough to go stale.
