Panasonic SD-254 Bread Maker £41.99 in store at Comet.

Just back home with one from Halifax branch. Sales person said that they had more stock.

Shelf edge price ticket is £41.99 (£69.99 less 40%).

I've been looking for one under £50 for ages. This price is rock bottom.

My first loaf is almost ready as I type

This is the top breadmaker and at this
price, a great buy. Hot

Hot if you find one, mine cost about £70 and it's never made a bad loaf.
#3
None in my local, it seems only larger stores carry Panasonic models.
#4
this one is the one without the "adding seeds" thingy.
we have that one and have only used t he adding seeds/raison thing once, so i'd highly recommend this one.
TIP always use 10mls more water than recipe and Asda 64p strong bread flour

This is a brilliant find, although it has been discontinued by Panasonic and replaced by the SD-256

top quality air conditioner the one!!! highly recomended a+++++++++

That's a great price for a great bread maker. However, it looks like this is deal is going to very limited so if you get one at this price you've been very lucky. There's none in the Bournemouth area according the system in the Christchurch store.

Apparently they still had one left in Salisbury, so if anyone is passing there it might be worth checking in.

Just went to the Brentford store - they had none and all the guy behind the counter would say was "it's discontinued" so no idea what stock is like round the rest of West London.

decent price

I bought my mum this for Xmas 2008 for £39.99 from Amazon (deal was posted on here at the time). She didn't want it and never opened it so I sold it on eBay a few months ago and got about £65 for it!

Guys, you do now that this is one of them gadets you buy and never use. Are realy going to bake bread before you go to work?
#17
Home made fresh bread is absolutely delicious and easy peasy to make. Do some googling and you'll soon realise all the chemicals etc that go into the so called 'fresh made' crap that the supermarkets sell. Only problem i have, is that you end up eating loads of bread. Wife refuses to eat it now as she was putting on weight.

If we are playing at being pedantic then this is your comment on one of your exciting deals for apples.

"Definately the best apples out there but usually £2.70 for a pack of eight. Currently £2.50 for two packs. Get 'em while it lasts!"

It should read "Definitely the best apples out there but usually £2.70 for a pack of eight. Currently £2.50 for two packs. Get 'em while it lasts!"

Let's not try and be clever whilst littering our own posts with terrible spellling errors.

Well I reckon I got a pretty good deal this afternoon. Had a 254 reserved behind the counter but when I got to store I went for a quick look around first. Spotted a 255 for the same reduced price of £41.99 granted it is ex-display rather than the boxed 254 they had reserved for me. Anyway because it is an ex-display, the sales person kindly offered me Comet's 3yr cover discounted to £10 but to get the price down she further reduced the 255 to £35. Consequently I came out with a 255 for £45 with 3yr cover. Result and huge thanks to OP. :)

Nice one OP, against all odds just been to my local Comet and they had 1 left which was 50% off at £34.99 which makes it even sweeter. Been looking to get one for a while now so well pleased with that deal.
