warburtons thick sliced white bread - £1

Was this the one on the Gadget Show the other day? If it is, it seemed to produce good bread.
#4
Think this is the one I've had for the past year or so - we reckon it's easily paid for itself AND the bread it produces bears no comparison to the packaged stuff .....definitely recommend it!
#5
Her indoors has never tried adding seeds Etc so the cheaper one would prob suit most people.

This one is for posh gits.:)

I always put the seeds in the flour mix....perfect bread.

So seems a waste to buy one with a dispenser then, not too worried about rye, will only make white or brown really, then put some poppy seeds or something in it,

Yep, sure was. We've used a Panasonic breadmaker for the past 10 years now and they really are fantastic things.

I think it depends on the recipe (I could be wrong though) but I think with some recipes you have to put the extra bits in i.e. nuts, raisins, fruit etc in half way through the cooking process.

Using plain flour and not strong bread flour (which is 2p cheaper as well) to make bread now that's PRICELESS

hand made every morning
#13
Flat breads or normal bread?

I always thought only strong flour makes a good loaf:

For those using a breadmaker we've also found a 50/50 mix of strong whiteflour and wholewheat makes a great loaf.
