Argos site mentions :

* Please note item 5526620 has previously been on sale at £34.98.

Loads of their sale items have been sold for lower prices, and for some reason they tell you now.

Umm, sorry but so what? Is it available NOW for £34.98? If not then this is, currently, a hot deal. In the same way, for example, that the DSi was available earlier today for £80, does that mean that ALL other DSi deals more expensive than that until the end of time are now cold?

Great Thanks. Picking mine up tomorrow! Definitely cheaper than building that time machine to go back to the time when it was £34.98! HOT!

You could buy two twin handsets as they will all link together. Makes it just under £80.

Can I personalise incoming "Number witheld" calls with a silent ring tone ? (ie so I can ignore them)

Or any other way of blocking incoming cold calls without paying BT.

If you set up the numbers you know with specific ringtones and all others with a silent tone then yes;-)

I bought a set of these before Christmas and I will be returning them on Monday. The sound quality is very poor and seems to echo quite a lot. Although the display is colour it is of a very low quality. On one of the phones that I have the display is very bright and nearly unreadable, even with the contrast fully adjusted.

I'd swap it fella - you've just got an unlucky one(some temp probably dropped it LOL) - I have nothing but praise excellent phone:thumbsup:

Agree - these are outstanding.....

The ones you were sold probably broken before sales or faulty returns.... but that's Argos for you

Got a gripe against Argos. I'm partially hearing and they would not let me purchase a Panny twin set DECT phone to see if it was Hearing Aid Compatible even if the instructions said it wasn't. So it's a no-go for Argos BUT would appreciate if anyone out there who are partially-hearing to advise me which of the current DECT twin set cordless phones are HAC even if the descriptions do not state if they are!

Just trying to help:?

Argos have a knack of doing this. So wait a few weeks and you'll save a fiver;-) Title should really read 'was £34.98 now £39.98'

Are these Panasonic KX-TG7302EB very inferior for 10 pound less? 100 name phonebook instead of 200 but how many do you need?

I've just paid an extra tenner from Amazon for the model with an answerphone which is Panasonic KXTG8322 Colour DECT Digital Cordless Telephone Twin with Answer Machine. This model has a night mode which is a function that allows you to stop wrong numbers in the middle of the night while still allowing friends or family to call. For me this is an awesome feature. It may be on this model too, I'm not sure.

Could someone pls tell me what's the difference between these two models, as I'm confused and can't tell the difference in features :

1) Panasonic KXTG8322 Colour DECT Digital Cordless Telephone Twin with Answer Machine - Black

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-KXTG8322-Digital-Cordless-Telephone/dp/tech-data/B0019HGOV2/ref=de_a_smtd

£49.99 + £3.95 shipping. Total = £54.00 ( sold by Amazon Market Place - liGo )

2) Panasonic KX-TG8422EB Colour DECT Twin Phone With Answer Machine - Black

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-KX-TG8422EB-Colour-Answer-Machine/dp/B001WAKSH2/ref=dp_ob_title_ce

£48.00 + £3.75 shipping. Total = £51.75 (sold by Amazon Market Place - liGo )

which one to go for ?

Also, with Amazon Market place is the product new and sealed ? like amazon

Thanks

if it's new then it should be like amazon, if it's used - like new then obviously not, the KX-TG8422EB retails for £70 odd £48 sounds like used

Hi walerah

If you click on the link, it says New not used...I've checked the link twice

but GUESS WHAT ? the prices have changed now...when I posted the question and attached a link then the price was £48.00 and it's now changed to £70....

I missed the good offer...somehow I've noticed that Amazon does this where they drop down the price very low and then increase it as soon as you visit that page next day (i've also read this trick about amazon somewhere on the Internet...can't remember where may be at HOTUK site)

notice sometime at Amazon site that if you look for an item by keeping visiting the site or clicking the link which is on reduced or special price then the price will shoot high next day

thanks anyway

I should have bought it at that price but never mind I'll keep an eye
