This is a fantastic deal for a Panasonic TV, let alone a PZ85B which comes Highly Recommended from HDTVtest (http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/Panasonic-TH42PZ85B/)

Pixmania have it for £770.09, then use discount code Pixuk0913 to receive £25 off, then 4% quidco cashback. Delivery is £19.90.

Richer Sounds have the set at £870 and that's only in selected stores.

I've just taken the plunge after weeks of deliberation, it was just too good an opportunity to pass up.

Cheaper here although I know nothing of the company.
http://www.kolosar.com/product_info.php?products_id=461905

Includes free shipping but only for today I think

Good price, shame about the retailer. They often source Euro products, and you thereafter have warranty issues.

Main warranty issue is this is french based company who apparantly deal with you from their uk base right up until there is a problem with your product and suddenly you dealing their french head office who are exempt from uk consumer laws.

Sorry to jump in here please dont flame, just offering some practical advice

As a deal hunter we all like a good deal. BUT! please check out the company before you buy off them. If you lose your money its not a deal at all. It costs you money, time and heartbreak.

There seems to be a lot of scam websites springing up at the moment (I'm not saying the one above is !) just google it and see what turns up, google is your friend. Before you jump in see what others have to say. The give away is they dont accept credit cards paypal etc unless you are a returning customer. No site encription and dodgy feedback from happy customers.

The website promoters (seeding) join websites like this and place deals that are very good and then defend them in posts if suspicions are raised. Usually their feedback is low or new members. If you have a suspicion raise so others dont lose out>

Would agree - had huge problems with Sony PVR that was supplied as European model (no freeview) - took a big fight to get a refund. Would pay more not to have to shop at Pixmania.

What? Seriously?
Just trying to be helpful. I have, obviously, purchased from companies that I haven't dealt with before...there is always a first time. Just saying that I haven't dealt with these guys.
I'm sure many users have encountered that company, I haven't anyway people seem to be slagging off pixmania.
If I was after that TV I wouldn't worry from purchasing here, just use your credit card.

As I say, I'm just trying to be helpful. Are you saying that my input isn't helpful, if so then I think you are very wrong.

I never said you wasnt trying to be helpful ! but if we are getting into flame wars then ok.

We have all dealt with companies for the first time and it seems that most people that have dealt with "THAT" company in the last few weeks have been scammed! check out avforums for one.

I respected your post, obviously you didnt appreciate my mine. Help and advice is what forums are about and that is what I was trying to do before you took it personally. So to prove that i'm not very wrong I have taken the time to do a little research for you.

Kolosar INC
269 well st Hackney London. This seems to be a one bedroomed flat above the Merve restaurant according to hackney councils planning dept and google. They dont take orders by phone anymore yet email is always answered. paypal accepted for returning customers only. credit cards taken for returning customers only. When you go through to checkout the site states returning customers only but now doesnt offer western union although it did. Seems like its recording personal details only, for future scams? who knows.

This site seems like a scam to me just by a quick 5 min search. If all the happy kolosar customers want to post a petition on this thread then I will gladly bare my backside in Debenhams window as a punishment. SERIOUSLY

Just to sum up. I never said you wasnt being helpful or your posts are not appreciated. Would you have felt bad if people had followed your link and lost their cash? I would have felt bad if I hadnt tried to offer advice based on what i have read elsewhere even if i was proved wrong. You wont have any problem ordering off them at all with your credit card.........because they only take cash or your personal details shop away!!!.
