The 37" version of this set won the What hi Fi supertest back in the summer and was voted best tv in the 37"-40" category at thisyear's awards.

If i had a spare few quid this would be the puppy i would be buying:thumbsup:

This is a great price for those in the market.

Cracking TV. I have its big brother the PX600, but it's essentially the same TV bar some minor improvements.

Excellent price.

Heat added.

Really tempted by this :whistling:
#4
Not sure if this is a misprice. It's showing at £899 on some parts of the site and £1199 in others and is £1199 when added to the basket.

ordered with the free delivery code. Now to sell my PE50. Cheers OP!
#6
Ignore my previous post. Seems to be working now.
#7
I've had this TV for a few months now and it is a great piece of kit, HD stuff looks very good and SD programs are better that the PE50 I had before. Some reviews/forums mention artifacts that have been named 'snakes', I have never seen these on my set, and would happily get another (well apart from the grief I would get from her indoors).

Jan08 if yours was from the previous Currys offer and you took the option of the cabinet you may be able to use that stand.
#8
Cheers for the advice. So, its certainly better than the PE50 then? er indoors is giving me a real Christmas grilling over this!!

Please, How do you arrive at £768.00 ? £899.00 - bppod10 = £809.10 prfreedel - Quidco 3% = £785. Cracking deal however, either price.
#11
Argh! Couldn't get voucher code to work and now it's unavailable due to high demand. Curses, this was one of the models I had my eye on :-(

Yep thats how I see it.

Can't get it down to £768.00 ? :?
#14
Hi, Cannot get price down to £768.00 including delivery :(.
#15
I think the £768 referred to is when all the discounts have been applied and n0chex has then mistakenly looked at the finance deal at the bottom of the order screen (easily done as I've done this myself).
This refers to the finance price after an initial deposit has been paid (£40.45) leaving the £768.64 to pay.

Just bought this and well chuffed, was seriously considering buying this at £899 but to get it delivered for £809 is amazing value (I know people who paid £1600 plus for this very TV only a matter of months ago)! Thanks to the guy with the 10% discount code!

Hi everyone, I see this Plasma has two HDMI sockets but does it have the connection required for an xbox 360 for HD (the six individual coloured cables, don't know what that is called). Excuse my ignorance, any advice will be great as this looks like a cracking deal! :)

I set up a quidco account..do I go thru the link on the quidco page to currys then just order? will I see a discount at checkout?

cheers
#24
Yes go through the link on Quidco to Currys.

You don't get the Quidco money immediately...it takes a couple of months...read the Quidco FAQ for details of how it works.
#25

I just had this in the basket no problems !

The Panasonic looks fantastic at this price but not so sure....

Call me thick (!) but with a resolution of only 1024x720 how can it display High Definition at the minimum resolution of HD, which is 1280x720 ???

I'm also tempted by the PRIMA 42" (samsung panel?) on Pixmania for £675 as that states 1280x768 in the spc although I read somewhere that was a mistake - I'm awating confirmation on that one.
