Yeah. Even though 42" is possibly around (or just over) the size were you'd start to notice the extra resolution, this is still a very good price.
Also, a lot of HD TV content (as broadcast on SkyHD and FreesatHD) is going to be 720p anyway.

I had 1080p on my 55" set, but 720p content still looks very good (especially compared to SD - which is around 480i) and if you didn't have 1080p to compare it wil, people would still be perfectly happy (given most people with HD TVs are using them to watch SD content - via Freeview, Sky, Virgin, DVD etc. and don't even realise they're not actually watching an HD picture).

Heat added.

dont forget this is the px8, not to be confused with the superior px80 or pz80 - still a good tv though

Well all these BargainCrazy TVs are pretty much end of line old 720p "HD ready" models.
But still a good TV for £400

I have a panny LCD best TV I have ever owned. Can't see them making a sub-quality set, well worth investing in.

Hi folks, I've a quick question. If Sky+ HD is 1080i wouldn't a 720p display be able to show this to its fullest quality? Only BluRay at 1080p whilst still good, would be even better on a true HD TV. Do I have this right?
