Full model number:
Panasonic KX-TG6422ES DECT Twin Digital Cordless Phone Set with Answer Machine in Silver, exactly as per the photo

In-store only - I picked up a set on Saturday in Greenhithe (Kent) and there were a couple left.

They are a Which Best Buy and highly rated on amazon too where they are £68 delivered.

Bargain at this price, I'm well pleased with them :o)

The Panasonic phones are very good.
I'm very pleased with mine. Only problem is I cannot wirelessly transfer the directory from one phone to another.
I don't know if its the same with these.

Good find - you should keep one of those phones on you just incase you suffer a colonary whilst tucking into your shopping.

PC World were doing some similar for £39.99 a few days ago. bought a set for a freind , I use a set and they are very good, if you can get them.

I bought the 3-phone a few months ago from Amazon for £45, very good phones, nice answerphone too. User friendly and quality is very good too. Recommend them

These are decent phones - got some for the inlaws. One thing I've never seen mentioned though is that the ringtones are pretty awful! Even the most basic one isn't great - very harsh sounding. The BT ones tend to have nicer tones.

Hmmm, ok but....
Why do they come with answerphones when it's available from BT, TalkSh*t etc?
I would consider buying them if I didn't think I was paying for something I don't need. :-\

Because the BT one has limitations, such as the number of messages you can store, the automatic deletion of them after 20 days, the limit on the length of the message and the fact you can't turn it off.

Also, you don't have to use the phone to hear messages, just hit play button on the base

It doesn't look cheap or nasty on these, this is a quality product and I'm cheesed off as I just bought a set for £59 two weeks ago.

Great deal if you can get them

My current phones get interference when near computer or wireless device. Will these panasonic phones be able to deal with the interference?
#23
Great brand & bombproof as has been mentioned every time a Panny phone thread deal starts.

now lets seperate the meat from the gristle! ..(as per another recent thread) Does this have an :whistling:;-)optical!?

I think these are the model with the reduced power requirements (ie a suitably sourced transformer )

I have the 3 pack of these and you can transfer individual entries or the whole phonebook between handsets.

Bought these yesterday at Asda Isle of Dogs. Plenty on the shelf but had to go and get it scanned as price on label was £60! :D

Got the last one in Arnold Nottingham tonight, West Bridgford sold out. As Nighthawk says, still priced at £60 on shelf, but scanning at £35, result !

None in Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford or Pudsey :-(

Just bought one of these from Asda for my parents. The shelf ticket said its £60, but scans at the tills at £35. Really good handset interms of size, build quality and call quality.
