This has an RRP of £389.99 on the Panasonic shop and is usually around £249.99 with other retailers. A few retailers dropped the price to £179 last night and Comet has now come down to £161.10 - this is a absolute bargain for a great brand (all our TVs are Panasonic, they're superb). We bought it for our new kitchen and were going to get the 19 inch C20B but this is cheaper and for a bigger screen! Looking at the technical info on the Panasonic website, the main advantage over the C20B would be that the x20 has the newer Vreal 5 engine. Anyway, all in all I hope you find this a hot deal.

How do you use the comet voucher code when using 'reserve and collect' option?
Edit. Just realised the 5% code is not valid for this item. Just ordered via Quidco for collection. Saved me few quid as I was going to order one last night, glad I now waited. Thanks.

Cancelled my Toshiba £127 order from Best buy and gone for this instead. Thanks OP.

Good price for a known brand.

Looking to hold off for a 32" for around the £200 mark (or £220 if Full HD) and the rate the TV deals are coming it shouldn't be too long, only wanting it for gaming.

Might go for this Hannspree 25" as it looks value for the money, would prefer larger but at the price and specs it seems pretty good.

How many channels does this receive? Cheers

As many as any freeview box? Dependant on your area i guess.

Tempted to buy, unfortunately no Comet in N.I. - although for sale in Currys for £179 , could also use Topcashback, which I think are offering 3.03% off. Thanks for the idea. Heat added.

Thanks OP

Laskys also selling this for £170 with free delivery (+3.5% Quidco), only a few quid more but might prove more convenient for some, especially if it goes out of stock/offer ends at Comet.

Looks like a good buy. Ordered one for the bedroom after spending a stupidly long time looking at LED lit screens around this price. I think going for picture quality over new backlight technology is always best :-) Looking like a very decent screen this!

Bargain! I paid about this much last year for a Tesco own brand TV for kids bedroom... if only I'd waited!

John lewis have changed there price match terms...
Now they will only price match other retailers that offer the excact same terms and conditions that they offer, meaning you have to find another retailer with a store that gives a FREE 5 year warranty with there televisions too! or say Richer sounds charge 10% of purchase price for there 5 year warranty, John lewis would add this on plus delivery charge and then compare the total price.

Exactly what I found in JL this morning. They would price match Comet price but would not include the extra 4 year gntee. I paid £179 for the extra 4 years peace of mind.

Please note that after checking the link today, the price has gone up to £179. I still think that's an excellent price and you never know, it may drop again.

JL would NOT include the 5 year Gntee with my purchase at £179! I'm not doubting but are you sure it included the 5 year Gntee at £161? I just phone JL and they told me £161 but not only ONE year gntee.

Yes it includes the 5 year guarantee. I got the order confirmation letter the day after TV was delivered. The letter details the item and warranty. Specifically states 5 years parts and labour. Same letter I have received for any previous JL orders. Definitely includes the 5 year guarantee.

Now showing as £299 on JL web site!
