Good saving on Argos' original price but imo not great value to what else is on the market at present. For under £400, you can pick up 1080p (Full HD) sets. :-D

Been looking for a 32" LCD for my Mum and deciding between these models:

Toshiba 32RV635B 1080p £399 John Lewis (free 5yr warranty and delivery when ordered via the web)

Samsung LE32B550 1080p £379.99 Amazon (sadly only 1yr warranty)

I don't think those deals are that great, stick around on hukd and watch out for something better.

I'd be more tempted by the TXL32X10 for £30 more at richersounds.

Panasonic make good tellys. I bought a TX-32LXD80 on NYE only 720p but very happy.

does it make a big difference between a TV with 50Mhz and 100Mhz for the refresh?

Yes, but it's a Panasonic so it will be better than those cheaper TVs and there's not much point in having 1080P on a TV this size anyway.
