And here was me thinking the current M&S deal was the best - this is £50 cheaper.

5 year warranty included on the TV and 2 years on the BR player.

Can apply for 7 free Blu-rays with this too

It was £799 last week and beats the M&S deal.

This is a popular plasma tv if you go by the user's thread on AV forum.
#3
IMHO that is a brilliant price for all that you get. H&R added.
#4
jist bought one for 699, Bargain ! Thanks for the heads up on the 7 films

is the freesat tuner HD ?

YES !

Thats a cracking deal, :santa:

Does Freesat need any special installation? I have normal TV antenna and Sky fitted.

You just need to plug in a satellite feed for Freesat. You'll need a free LNB on your satellite dish mind if you want to continue using Sky as well. And they broadcast from the same satellite as Sky so no re-alignment required.

I thought this was a good deal at the £816 I paid at the end of November, it's a no-brainer now.

this is a cracking deal - how much cheaper can it get?

I bought the M&S TV last month on its own for £625 after Quidco and i thought that was good so a decent BD player with it at this price is excellent.

TV is great by the way.

Does anyone know if it has a freeview tuner built in as well as the freesat one. I have found one site that says it does but others make no mention of it.

Hi all.
I've been thinking about getting a new TV but have been looking at LCD as I thought they were the way to go these days?
My plasma I own already (one of the Aldi deals a few years ago with no HD) is ok but my brother has just bought an LCD which is far superior.
Is my thinking of LCD being better than plasma wrong? Should I wait for a good LCD deal as it will be my main TV for a number of years.
I appreciate any knowledgeable bods advice

I've been looking at this tv for a while (drooling at the same time) and seeing this deal has persuaded me to take the plunge. Cant wait til next monday before it comes!

Heat added (how do i add rep?)

Cheers

Thanks for the respone ladily. Can I just use Sky with it as normal if I want to, ie, not bother with the Freesat capability?

Just got Sky+HD installed today so looking for the TV to compliment this and like the look of this offer with the blu ray DVD as well.

Bought mine at JL after a price match with Richer. Price matched with the M&S deal but called again to match their own £699 deal. What are my chances of getting the blu ray thrown in?
#37
Cracking deal. Missed the M&S deal and glad I missed that. Now ordered one.
#38
I don't know whether I want to thank or kill the person who posted this! Just ordered, I'll say thanks until I get my credit card bill!
#39
so tempted, hav been waiting for another 46" deal but this seems to good to miss....
#40
Advise please.
I ordered a Panasonic Viera TX-P42X10B the other day for £599 to be delivered next Saturday from John Lewis.

We have a Virgin Media cable box with Sky Sports etc.
What would be the benefits of me changing my order to this television.
I am absolutely clueless about the different models
