I like when tv's have both Freeview HD and Freesat HD built into them. I wish more would do that!

err his point was its a good tv but considering its been much cheaper and this site is called hot deals, then at the price suggested its not a bargain.

I paid £899 so this IS a bargain price still worth every penny of what I paid. How can you vote cold???? (Always one).

It's the hottest deal around at the minute, unless time travel is a specialty of yours?
#15
what he means is this isnt a bargain when the price has been reduced then pushed back up thats called price fiddling to make u think its a deal.

I don't consider its a hot deal as a) its been selling recently cheaper and will soon be cheaper again b) the likes of Dixons and Laskys are selling at the same price and c) there are other tvs with similar specs for much less. Yes its a top notch tv but i only vote hot if its a bargain price - this is an ok price imo.

I love this site even though its cost me a fortune, but Amazon usually have good prices for good tvs, infact their website is full of them, so no i personally wouldnt post them all.

This is a fantastic TV. Probably the best sub £1k plasmas at the moment.

I paid £850 for it last month from the Panasonic shop but then again I got a 5 year warranty thrown in with it and a BluRay player for £50.

This is a good price for this telly. It's crazy to say, "It will be cheaper later on" because that is always the case. If someone wants to buy it NOW then this is a good deal.

600 fake Hz will impress a few regulars on here ;)

I purchased this a couple of weeks back for 899 with a blu-ray player (BD45) and 5 years warranty (Panasonic) from house of fraser.

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/panasonic-tx-p42g20-for-899-99-inc-/746146

Guess wasnt a good deal according to a lot of people, I think it was if you add the cost of the BD player and the warranty..

I think theres a difference between saying things fall in price eventually, which isnt really saying much in contras to saying we know that its already been seen at a lower price elsewhere and if you want a bargain rather than the best price at the moment then a bit of patience isnt out of the question.

Sometimes on this site people find real bargains which are way under what its usually been and encourages you to buy it. Thats a bit different from just a decent price. Personally I wouldnt post something just because it was the cheapest, but if it was significantly cheaper than the going rate or previous prices, then I would.

whats the warranty on this?

Dunno if this is a better deal. fact it isnt with amazon aside and if the amazon is only a 1yr gtee.
Then this could be £30 cheaper at £694. (noe it mentions a trade in discount) No idea if they actually wnat you to do anything, some shops do and some dont.

Dun if theres a dixons or JL price promise or quidco you could apply. Ah its any old tv.

I'd say this was a better deal chopramo

£779 BD player and 5yr Gtee.
mex they havent updatd the site. 31 august.

Now £724.07 again. Amazon tend to do this. Advertise a lower price then when a few are sold they hike it up again, only for a few hours /days later to reduce it again.

Considering I paid £749 approx 2 months ago for mine from COSTCO, I would naturally consider this price to be an absolute NO BRAINER especially from Amazon. Quality TV !!!

Nope, 42" is as small as they come for the G20.
