this was £529 earlier this week! my mate bought one... ooops!

This price is obviously too cheap for such a quality television; perhaps your mate will appreciate his more, having paid an extra £79.50 for his!

2 years ago i paid £800 for my Panasonic 42" and at that time it was a bargain as they were £1200 , how prices have tumbled !

Just what crossed my mind, I paid a similar amount for one of my Panasonics then too, and I bought another back in June, got the X20, and it was £470-odd, crazy how fast prices have fallen in a short space of time now that you can get the S20 for less money!

Amazing how daft Amazon are.

I ordered this a few days ago for £539.99 then took the discount off making it £485.99, and it is/was due for delivery tomorrow afternoon.

Now it drops in price but I've just phoned them and they cannot simply refund me £36.49, so I've had to cancel it and I must now refuse it tomorrow and it's re-booked for Friday morning.

Not available for delivery to Northern Ireland!!!!

I think it's because it's a plasma (plasma gas).

I've had a plasma Panasonic for over 8 years now and it hasn't given me a scrap of bother.
Mind you, it cost an arm and a leg then!!:(

This any good for Xbox 360 such as input lag, and how is SD?
#11
Hi,

Anyone know if this comes with a 5 year warranty? If not how much would one cost?

Thanks

Does the code work on other Panasonics as well?
#13
too good this so had to order. i already have a 37"which will move to the back room. That has been an excellent tv, I hope this one is as good. It would have been nice to have internet access but for the price differnce of the equivalent model you could buy a budget pc to do this! I presume there is a push to get rid of TV's to make room for 3d tv's for xmas! Personally as I don't have 3d vision, so I won't be wanting one!

Good price in theory, but I would not touch a 2010 Panasonic plasma with a barge poll.

The 2009 models had a problem with rising blacks as Panasonic had made an error with the algorithm that controls black levels but this isn't really an issue on the 2010 PDP sets.

Don't have the figures to hand for it but going by every other plasma it'll be low as the signals aren't processed anywhere near as much as an LCD.

It's £539.95, so £90 more, at John Lewis with a 5 year warranty.
