I snapped up one of these monsters recently from Dixons (online only as their outlet stores are now Currys). I found it a very good deal considering its £1,499 from Tesco Direct and even Currys (who are under the same company as Dixons) have it for £1350, I even called up Currys and the guy behind the phone seemed very surprised!!!!

The Panasonic Viera TX-P50G10 50" Full HD Plasma TV is a no-compromise High Definition plasma television with 600 Hz refresh rate and Panasonic's G12 panel technology.

This mighty 50-inch widescreen display has a Full HD 1920 x 1080p resolution with an incredible 40,000:1 native contrast ratio. The viewing-angle-free nature of plasma technology, the instant response time, and the rich colour all combine to create a mesmerising picture quality that is astonishingly cinematic!

Powerful sound is available thanks to the 20-watt built-in speakers, though movie fans will want to take advantage of the optical digital audio out to connect a home cinema system. The Panasonic Viera TXP50G10 has 3 HDMI connectors for adding Blu-ray Disc players, game consoles and other HD devices, in addition to a wide variety of alternative inputs.

Feast your eyes on the Panasonic Viera TX-P50G10 50" Full HD Plasma TV and you'll see exactly why Panasonic's plasma technology is widely considered the best in the business!

Thanks for posting. And welcome to HUKD.
It is good practice to also add the merchant and price to the title. It helps people who are just browsing through. And in my experience your post will get a few more “hot” votes.

They are well worth taking a look at.

The Costco deal is still better value.

As well as Dixons no membership fee. Also you have to have a costco near you...

The price in the title should also be adjusted to take the £5% voucher into account - taking price down to around £910.

Thanks for posting - definitely considering at this price.
We've got a comet near to a Dixons, using the Comet price promise you can get 10% of the difference in store too..
Find it at a RicherSounds - £950 currently + option to pay 10% more for 5yrs cover too. And if a John Lewis nearby that RS then get them to price match RS and get it with 5yrs for £950!

Not many people have regretted shopping with RS/JL; I doubt if the same can be said for having ANY dealings with any part of DSG!

BUT DSG's Dixons brand has no retail stores !?!? Their Currys brand (and PC World brand) have stores - not that I'd visit them!
doesn't seem to be available anymore
I am in the market for some TVs and wondered if anyone had a code for Dixons for like 3 or 5 oercent off please
