Best price I've seen, what's a 5 year warranty cost from Curry's?

EDIT - 3 year care plan is £209, reading about Panasonic's performance over the last 3 model revisions 20, 30 and now 50 series you'll need to have that warranty for piece of mind :(

Even though this is a newer model , I still think the p50vt50 from john lewis is better value at £1049 with 5 years warranty.
I'm debating between that and the Samsung ps51d8000 (if I get the price match from jl)

This should be getting super HOT, but too many samgsung fans in here who want bling bling and not quality hardware.
