I was at point to go for the Samsung PS50B530 for 599 at Currys... then after the LG 50PS3000 for 665... and now want this Panny!!

Got the newer model with the 600hz but this TV is basically the same and I can tell you the picture is Excellent on the Panasonics :thumbsup: especially with Sky HD :-D
Even the sound is good

The 5 year warranty is great as my old Tv was from JL and they replaced it without fuss after they could not fix it.

Samsung and LG make good plasmas but Panasonic make better than both.

When I come to upgrade my current LG (non HD) plasma it will be with Panasonic or Pioneer.

John Lewis also have the Panasonic SC-PT470EB DVD Home Cinema System for £199. Is it worth buying with this TV?

I can't find this TV on the panasonic website. How does it compare to the TX-P42G10? I need to know whether I should cancel my order on the g10 and get the u10. The g10 cost me £622 with freeview and 5 yr guarantee.

Not sure on the VGA port...my 42" has one but is a different model.
