I've been trying to wait for the best deal I can find for this for a while but inparticular I wanted the 5 year guarantee included which this has.
Won loads of awards, and top of various review websites I've been looking into recently.
You may be able to get it a few pennies cheaper elsewhere but I doubt with the 5 year guarantee

Good price for this tv

Good Price with the 5yr Warranty :)
#3
Might be expired now, as it said 1 in stock when I bought one -- fingers crossed that I get it after my failure to get a PS3 earlier today.

8 left, good TV and great price with 5 year warranty.

I was looking for this deal last week (G20 & 5 year warranty).

John Lewis had it at the same price but none in stock.

Heated.

Just been on again and it says there are 8 left!
#6
yeah I've been looking on the M&S, John Lewis and HoF site each day for a couple of weeks as I'm sure theyre all linked in some way!
#7
Not particularly special price for a discontinued model, probably will fall a bit more now that the G30 is out if there are any stocks of these about in a few weeks time.

Recommend this TV. I bought from Comet for £659 and got £18 quidco back but only 1 year warranty. My last Panasonic was 4 1/2 years old before I sold it on.
#9
This isn't a good price for this tv. You should be looking for 500-599 with 5 year warranty. New models out in march so price is driven by stock and current climate. Been available many times below this price and will be again soon no doubt.
Not voted though.

You clearly havent been watching the prices of it then.

Great price for the 5 year warranty included. Best TV around for the price.

I think it is a good price because of the 5 year warranty.

Well I have (just search this site!) and this isn't a good or great price.

When you consider Panasonic want £200+ for a 5yr Warranty it's pretty good imo

Local Panasonic store has this marked up as £899 but just laugh at price and £250 is removed. If there is a better price elsewhere they will try and match - stock is low at mo so no deals this week but they would still remove £250.00.
It has been lower than this many times - I only look at 5yr warranty included deals.
i.e. http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/panasonic-viera-tx-p42g20b-plasma-h/805063 will come around again no doubt.

HoF + 5yr warranty. Seems like the best deal for this tv at this particular moment in time. Mmmm, I'm gonna order one.
#16
Regarding the 5 year warranty does anyone know if this is with HOF or with Panasonic? After purchase do you have to register the tv with anyone or is it automatically applied?
#17
Good question. My ordered TV arrived today. I need to know this too. I shall have a look thru the paperwork and let you know.
#18
Nothing in the paperwork. I shall call them.

Spoke to customer service and they told me the guarantee comes separately in the post around 4-6 weeks later and it's with "the company" ie. Panasonic.

looks like i need to cop one!

ONE QUESTION AS I HAVE NO TV LICENCE DO THEY ASK FOR YOUR ADDRESS IF YOU WANNA BUY IN STORE?
#22
They appear to have sold out online. I guess this is expired!
And yes, I believe you are asked for your address when you buy a TV for the very reason you mentioned.
