Excellent, is it me or are Plasma screens using less power these days, I think this is about 173 watts for a 46" Plasma....my Sony LCD 40" W2000 is 185 Watts!

Not knocking this deal but I think the £715 you paid including the 5 year warranty was better. I might check to see if it's still on.

yes it is. I don't know if JL will price match play? I guess not though! Many people would argue, with a Pana set, you wouldn't need a 5year warranty...

I don't normally buy anything with extended warranty (preferring to rely on SOGA in the rare event of a failure outside the 1 or 2 year warranty period) but I tend to change my main plasma screen every 2-3 years and having a residual guarantee will make it more saleable.

Very good considering 42" is same price http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/13593482/Panasonic-VIERA-S20-Series-42-inch-TX-P42S20B-Full-HD-1080p-Freeview-HD-Plasma-TV/Product.html

I'm looking for a tv for the in-laws, they want a 42" full hd with a 5yr guarantee so the best i can find is the P42S20B on John Lewis for £599.
