Have just made our purchase of the above fantastic tv! Very Very pleased. Have been looking for months - reviews etc., then been struggling to find a good deal!.

Any way found a price of £845 at Sound and Vision Bolton (ring for their instore price) this comes with a 5 Year free warranty. Rang local Richer Sounds and they have a price match system where if the product is between £500 and £1000 they will better the price by £25! So paid £820 and got today!

Just been looking at getting richersounds to price match the lower resolution model TH-42PX80B against Sound and Vision for £653.90 (and £25 pricematch discount.)

Cant decide whether to go for PZ or PX !!

Ditto, hotski....full HD meant to be overkill on a 42 incher...

Have done loads of research into this - basically if you can stretch to this from the px80 model the general advice is to go for it! Also do not bother with the PX8. The PZ range has always one the top awards (spent a long time on the PZ70 looking - so long that the new range came out!)

Go for it - you will not be disappointed.

I am now looking for advive on the Scart leads - as they have said that it is really worth getting their one for £49.95!!!!!! Something to do with RGB?????

Said I would think about it! Anyone any advice on these please? Its from a Sky+ box to my new telly!!!! Can't wait till Wednesday night! (The Apprentice not the football!!!!!)

£50 for a Scart lead is a ripoff

RGB on Scart needs all the pins connected on the lead - some cheap leads fail to wire all the pins.

The Thor cable mentioned would do it fine but cheaper branded cables should be fine.

There is a noticeable difference on RGB so if you dont see any change then you know it is the cable.
