Seems a good price for a larger 46" Plasma TV with Freeview HD - the price when launched this year was over £1000. Also available from Currys for £671 (use discount code SALES6). Quidco 3% for Dixons. Also available from John Lewis for £714 with 5 year guarantee which is actually where I bought it from.

Use code REEVTV40 for £40 discount off listed price of £669.

Guys just realised that if yo add another tv to your basket to take the total past £800 you can use DIXONSTV to get 7.5% off.

Not the best example, im sure you could find better deals.

PANASONIC VIERA TX-P46S20B 46" Full HD Plasma TV £669.00
LG M227WD 22" Full HD LCD TV/Monitor £180
Sub Total £849
Add code
Total £785

So that 22" LG tv only gonna cost you an extra £116.

Its the first tv i looked at so im sure there other tvs there which will give you more of a bargain.

In that case I'd go with JL as five year warranty is good.

I wouldn't normally buy any warranty but I've read that with tv's it's a good idea.

Hi good TV no doubt, and sorry to be the first to post a negative, but there are some people (im one) who see flicker in the high end Panasonic plasma TV (S and G's...) my advice would be to view before you buy. Look at the TV from your peripheral vision as well... if you don't notice it great. I bought one of these and had to take it back im afraid. Also this TV (S) has a very grey screen when off...

good if your a gamer these have very low lag

i read lag isn't a factor on next gen consoles??

Again I echo the flicker sensitivity factor, get a demo before buying one of these folks! I nearly lost £800 cos i couldn't watch mine!!

It depends on what kind of lag you're talking about, in this case it's input lag which is all down to the TV.

I'd go plasma for gaming too, faster panel response time and less input lag.
