Is this the same telly for £629 delivered?

I never understand why Dixons and the like get different letters in the model name?

So they can avoid having to do any price match...

@CJ
No, they are different tvs. This is the u10b, which is basically the same as an s10b, but this one has/does not have a reflective coating compared to the s10b (sorry, can't remember which has the coating). both of the ones I've mentioned are better than the x10 tho...

remember that these are all old stock tho, replaced by newer models...

The difference is that the P50U10B is full 1080p but no anti relection filter.
The P50X10B is not full HD, but has anti-relection filter.

Noticed the 123 electrical says 1080p, so i'm reerving my judgement.

Thats def 1080p with the filter.

I'm sure the 123electrical site is wrong as currys have the P42X20 and its not 1080p.

WARNING - great for night time viewing, if you plan to watch it during the day there will be severe reflections on this particular screen

I'd agree with that if the sun streams into your room and you have no curtains or blinds.
If you can find another panny same spec same price with anti reflection then go for it, Otherwise the lack of anti-reflection is easy to cope with, considering the price.

I've got the p50c10b and yes it is reflective. But then, you'd be much better, in any case with curtains drawn, whatever the brand. Having one side of the room basking in the sun isn't the ideal viewing condition

Unless you are putting it in a bright room, I would go for one without the anti relective coating. In fact, I actually have a Panny PX70 without a coating in my conservatory and it is fine as long as the blinds are drawn on sunny days.
I bought a Panny G10 with reflective coating for my lounge. Lulled into a false sense of security due to the claims that the panel can withstand quite a whack, I cleaned a smudge off the screen with the sleeve of my Gap jumper. Believe it or not, it cut a scratch in the anti reflective coating like butter. Luckily it is not in a bright room- I watch the G10 TV in my lounge and if bright sun is shining in I would close the appropriate blind , so the scratch is not really visible, but it would be if I put it in a bright room.
The internet is abound with reports as to how Panny's anti reflective coating scratches too easily and once it happens, there is no repairing it. The only thing you can do is replace the panel.
If you have a cat, try to avoid a Panny plasma with anti reflective coating because its claws will scratch the screen. Same with very young children. How Panny can market this panel as being suitable for people with kids due to its impact resistance, when anything hitting it would easily scratch the coating is beyond me.
I would say this TV is a fantastic deal at this price- as stated, do not worry about lack of coating unless you intend to watch in a bright room with no blind/ curtains!
As stated, mine scratched so ridiculously easy with a quick rub of cloth, that if I had a choice I would avoid the ant reflective coating altogether. Make sure if you do get one you only ever use the supplied cloth to clean the screen.

NO. This is a cut down version of the S10 model.

This TV wont suffer any worse with reflection than a CRT TV will it?

I bought this from Currys using the "spring5" voucher code, and free delivery, cost me £616 and was delivered in 3 days. It is simply an amazing TV. I bought this mainly for my Xbox, and because it has Optical out on the back of the tv, I have everything hooked up (sky+, xbox, dvd recorder) with just 3 cables (2xHDMI and 1xOptical).

The fact it is lighter than my old Toshiba 42" plasma meant it fitted happily on the same wall bracket too. very happy indeed. (COD MW2 is amazing on it!)
