'"Panasonic steals the high ground with a feature-bursting Full HD plasma that covers all the bases and a few others too. " What Satellite & Digital TV.

The Panasonic TXP46G20 has impressed reviewers and buyers alike, so we're delighted to be able to offer this killer deal! Earning top marks for both picture quality and features, it's fair to say that the Panasonic TXP46G20 is one of the most impressive TVs in its class; and that was when it cost well over £1000! Offering both freesat HD and the new Freeview HD, the TXP46G20 has all you need for HD TV. Simply connect a satellite dish for a wide range of freesat HD channels and/or connect a digital TV compatible aerial for Freeview and Freeview HD (coverage dependant).

Yet the Panasonic TXP46G20 isn't just about being one of the most flexible 46 inch TVs to date, it's also about viewing pleasure. Panasonic have combined 600Hz Sub-field Drive technology with their own image-analysis technology to create super-smooth images, whatever the format. With an amazing contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, a new filter system and the now famous Self-Illuminating Pixels, the VIERA TXP46G20 gives inky deep blacks to trump just about anything in its class. Deep blacks are a plasma strength but perhaps more surprising are the vivid colours and bright white images. Truly, the TXP46G20 is an impressive all rounder. If you need further assurance that the TXP46G20 has one of the very best video performances in its class you need look no further than the THX certification. THX are a separate body, connected to Lucas films, who test and monitor video and audio performance. Simply put, in order for a TV to be THX certified, the performance has to be exceptionally good in a whole raft of areas. The Panasonic TX-P46G20 is just such a TV.

As TVs become ever thinner, so the sound quality suffers. With a TV such as this, you really need a separate sound system for an audio performance to match the picture. Indeed, read reviews of this TV and the one aspect of disappointment for many reviewers and buyers alike is the distinctly average sound quality. As standard this latest Panasonic Viera comes with the all important digital optical output to allow you to easily hook up the TV to a digital home cinema system. Should you use the onboard audio system, V-Audio Surround and 2 x 10 watt speakers are on hand to deliver a crisp sound quality that's at least better than some of the super-thin TVs at this price.

As TVs continue to embrace the latest technologies, you'll be pleased to find the TXP46G20 comes equipped with VIERA CAST. Simply connect the TV to your home network hub and you can enjoy access to Internet applications such as Skype TM and Twitter. A useful feature that's been almost unique to Panasonic over the years is the addition of an SD memory card reader. This lets you plug in an SD card from your digital media device and easily view your digital photos or full-HD videos on TV.'

The 50inch is only £650 at dixons? Plus quidco and you could buy a Blu ray and have a bigger screen...?

50 inch G20?

Thought that was an S20?

Went for this cos the 50 inch is too big for my room.

Rang the Liverpool branch and told them that I didnt want the blu ray play and was a VIP member and got the TV alone for £640 and then got the 5 yr warranty as well.

So total for 5 yr warranty without the blu ray player: £704

Might be worth it for those that dont want to deal with Dixons or dont have enough space to accomodate 50 inch deal.

Does this support DLNA?

no your remark is stupid, size is about choice not what you want, i agree the 46" would be the better buy.
