Hey. I have seen many deals on Samsung 3d tv's but this is the first I saw on a Panny.

My parents only want Panny so this might just be for them.

thanks Heat added

People on avforum and what hifi are returning these tv's saying quick panning shots are really really bad. some have even said worst tv they have owned and bought a samsung for half the price and are now more than happy.

Hot for price, just not sure about pic quality as not seen the TV in action

hi
is richer sounds an authorised Panasonic dealer ? doesnt seem to be when i click through onto the 3d discs offer and enter my Brighton postcode (and there is a Richer Sounds in Brighton) ! Will they definitely honour a purchase of the telly from RS ?

This is currently voted the best 3D out at the moment. I personally own the samsung, but would have bought this had I saw this deal before I bought the sammie! I would have sold the blu ray player and blu rays and that would have just about made it worth the £600 more than the sammie.

Belter TV. Bought it last month.

KURO level blacks and awesome 1080p pic. 3D is as good, if not better than the cinema.

They sell them, but they aren't an authorised dealer so you will be a Richer Sounds warranty instead of the 5yr Panasonic Warranty.
Richer Sounds offered me this deal at this price as a "price match" for Crampton & Moore, but I paid £100 more to buy it from an authorised dealer.

If thats the case I can definitely vouch for the 5-year richer sounds warranty. I returned a toshiba last year, brilliant non-quibble return.

Are you sure it was this exact tv ?, As i was looking at 3dtv reviews the other day & this is the best one of all of them apparently.

Don't believe the hype on these Panasonic TV's.

People on AV Forums have swapped these for LG 50PK590 for a third of the price.

They are voted the best though in most tests..... Even so, at this price you would demand perfection.

Not a good TV , loads of people have returned them and bought cheaper alternatives and are far happier. This TV does suffer from a bug with 50Hz material (i.e Freeview / Sky) that exhibits itself as poor motion and posterization (colour banding) on some material. I'd avoid to be honest. Check out the LG 50PX990 (review on Avforums.com) for a much cheaper alternative that if the review is anything to go by performs just as well on 3D and has much better picture quality. The only thing the VT20 has going for it is good blacks but even they get worse over time!

How long have you got before you can return the tv if you are not happy with it.
