I have this game but not got around to playing it yet. Have been put off by it not being playable on the gamepad screen. Absolutely madness that is! I bought a new copy and actually thought first time I loaded the disc that I had got a duffer and it didn't work. I actually went on a forum asking if anyone else had got a dodgy disc and another person had done the same thing as me. Sounds silly I know, but the game software hasn't even been programmed to say please play on TV or whatever, TV only game sort of thing, like other Wii U games. Since when did Nintendo start short cutting like that and not bothering with fine detail? I know it is one of the later Wii U games to be released and that might explain it, but still not impressed with that.

Really!! ?? LOL. You would think it would just default to gamepad screen or come up on both gamepad screen/TV at the same time automatically as other games always do. Will need to check this out later on tonight!

EDIT: this might be the worst piece of shoddy workmanship by Nintendo on a Wii U game since Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival (just the game in general), and the half finished Mario Tennis. At least they were just bad games, this is like simply lazy programming on Paper Mario Colour Splash, would not normally associate sloppy with Nintendo.

My son loves it. You do use the pad to battle and sort through the inventory. Really good game and good price. Heat!

Not a new deal - I heard about it (and subsequently bought it from the Chichester store) before Christmas.

Still a great price, mind.

Great game, a real return to form after Sticker Star.

With Nintendo going to quietly kill off the Wii U, you would do much better jailbreaking it than trying a wild goose chase finding Wii U games in any stores.
#23
I don't think our Tesco even stocks Wii U games any more.

Yeah but, what if there's some sort of softlock on Zelda fam?

This was posted before xmas at this price, and was promptly snapped up... doubt there's stock in any stores other than perhaps the back end of knowhere. The OP failed to even say which store, so quite why anyone would vote this hot it's beyond me! Nobody has claimed to find a copy as a result of this post yet.

The term jailbreaking has never been exclusive to the iphone, considering it is not custom firmware then by definition I have used the correct term.

I have never seen wii u games at tesco, not just local to myself either. I actively look anywhere I go, same as hmv, never seen wii u games there either!

Fair enough mate, I've just never heard anybody refer to any soft mods or hard mods done to a console as jailbreaking it with the exception of the ps3 but I assumed that was because that was the term geohot was throwing around at the time and he was involved with the iPhone before that

It was in Bournemouth Tesco Extra. Just been to Plymouth Tesco Extra and there's two on the shelf there too.

Was in the large Barnsley store today and this was stickers on the shelf but sold out.
