Beware: this game is not good (and I say that being a big fan of the Paper Mario series in general).

Really? It scores 4.4 out of 5 on Amazon and 75% on Metacritic?

This game is great fun and I've spent many hours completing it. Don't listen to the above. For £19.99 it's a steal

It's got a lack of story and grinding rpg elements, from what I've heard.
It's probably not the best paper mario game, but it seems like it's a good one to me.

It's a good game, though one that got lost in my collection when there was a sudden deluge of great 3ds games last year. Heat.

Probably not for me but on the look out for Mario Golf for around £20 if anyone can help.

Darren.

Yeah it's a strange that. The game's presentation is fantastic and that may be what has helped gain it so many favourable reviews. In practice though it's really disappointing - there's no longer any levelling up for one, making battles pointless. The script is also far worse than previous entries in the series too - and the writing is usually a strength of these games.

Second though is that the boss battles ask you to use specific stickers to win, but these special stickers are hidden all around the game world - and there's no way to know exactly which one you need to use and when. After you've used it once it's gone too, meaning you have to go all the way back to where you found it and get it again (if it's needed for a later boss).

I'm not explaining it very well, but trust me when I say that if you manage to complete this game with no help from a guide you're a better person than I. This review is pretty much spot on: http://metro.co.uk/2012/12/05/paper-mario-sticker-star-review-not-a-peeling-3300989/

Yes I see that. It's probably good on first impressions when people might first review but long-term appeal is lacking.
