All chemists limit them now due to overdoses.

Your title should read something like:

'Paracetamol Tablets 24 pack 1p instore @ Numark Pharmacy (Hesketh Bank)'

Not just 'Paracetamol'.

I guess that a lot of people are buying asprin at the moment because of the recent talks about reducing cancer risks - so there's probably an overstock of other pain killers!

Hot price!!

I think that's Aspirin not Paracetamol. Aspirin is normally the cheapest, but watch as its price soars!

I think the limit to stop suicide is just stupid.
Someone could go in Boots, Superdrug, Tesco then Asda etc.
That's 100 assuming 25 in a pack.

Bruce Lee died from one.

The Yanks must be less likely to top themselves then, because they are trusted to but Asprin in Bottles of 500 for $4

$4 Suicide Kit

And If I remember right Costco in the US Sells tubs of 2000. Enough to top a whole village for under a tenner!

The lack of understanding of painkiller use and side effects in this thread is truly frightening!

completely agree - more nanny state interference which benefits no-one!

errr ONE packet is enough to kill you not to mention that you could put the overdose antidote into the tablets meaning it would be impossible to kill yourself with paracetamol but that costs money...

Eg: "I guess that a lot of people are buying asprin at the moment because of the recent talks about reducing cancer risks - so there's probably an overstock of other pain killers!" The suggested 'protective' dose of aspirin is tiny and not relevant to packs sold for analgesic use.

just remember the correct dosage, for adults its 1-2 of 500mg tablets every 4-6 hours, max 8 tablets in 24 hours!!! And watch for other medicines containing paracetamol too, eg sudafed, Lemsip and co-codamol. PLEASE CHECK.

PS Aspirin comes in different strength.
