If that price includes VAT then it is a reasonable deal as most places are doing it at £45.

Who decides that the software in a package that costs £40 is worth £130. In my opinion it is worth £40.

I use parallels 3 and it is good...useful but not perfect by any means. At this price it is a saving against the Apple store price of £48.95. Amazon price is £44.85.

Does the Costco price include VAT? If not then this works out more expensive than Amazon.

There is a free alternative to this. Don't be put off by the fact that its free, its very feature rich and good. You can download it at http://www.virtualbox.org/

Its a Sun Microsystems Open Source project so it has good backing and means it will be kept up to date for free.

Use VirtualBox from Sun Microsystems its free....

http://www.virtualbox.org/

Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, Macintosh and OpenSolaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4 and 2.6), Solaris and OpenSolaris, and OpenBSD......

virtualbox works for me too

And another vote for VirtualBox - like it better than parallels.

Besides, you can run windows on macs now. (So there is officially NO reason to get a mac anymore).

I hope no one rises to your lame flame bait.

There, i changed my post. Not really intersted in conversing with europeans who cannot pay their mortgage but do have a mac because its the only thing that gives them "character" - when it still probably doesn't.
