Just beat me on this one.
Dont forget 4% Quidco brings it down by 20p!
You will struggle to find a 4gb stick for this price without an excellent film included so heat from me.

I got one of these the last time it was on, not tryed it yet as I put it up for xmas, I got the star trek one and could not get the film to play on that one with the player you install.

I bought the Star Trek [2009] film on one of these for £4.99 a few months back from MyMemory. I've now just purchased this film: Transformers; Revenge of the Fallen. (",)

Heat added.

Hi, does anyone know what format the movie is in? What DRM it uses? And therefore whether it will playback on a Mac?
#9
Says it'll play on a Mac...

Thanks for the link b1g1an, didn't realise this was the second movie, saw the first on 4hd a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it.
#11
It definitely works on a mac as Ive done it, but its quite a frustrating faff -as I suspect it is with Windows, hence some of the comments above. I nearly smashed it to pieces at one point!
Still, a good price for a 4GB drive even if you fail to get the movie working!
#12
BOUGHT! Cheap even for a 4gb memory stick, i have this on blu - ray, but i cannot turn this down!
#13
Great price for a mem stick.
#14
Thanks

I got this when it was posted here a couple weeks ago. It's a drm protected divx and does work with macs. You download an activation file and it plays through divxs own player. The drm slows down the playback though. It was jerky at full screen on my 4 year old MacBook that plays non drm divx smoothly.

It's a really nice looking package.

Make sure they get them up and running PDQ as the film must be watched at least once before 31/12 to activate it otherwise it expires.
after you watch it once you are good to go for as many repeat viewings as you like.

sweet dont need a stick but never seen the film!!! the stick will come in.
#20
i bought this a couple of weeks back and yes they do work on windows computers.

you have to go to divx site and download thier player then enter your code that comes with the usb drive before you can watch it.

so do you have to erase the film off the stick to have 4gb of storage?
reading it as u dont because of the line " It also has 4GB of free space that you can use to store data with"

anyone who bought the star trek one tell me please, thanks.
#22
Ooh, nice deal. Thanks mate!

I bought 2 last time on offer, but could not get the film to play, as been said you have to download there divx player then enter the code that comes with it, then I think I had to join the website but still could not get to play, comes up You are not Authorised to watch this movie, so I give up.
#24

yeh DRM the WORST invention ever....you dont realise how much this slowed down/stopped some ideas coming to reality.......cloud, full proper online backups (without fear of being sued), etc

You can delete the video file, it's a 4GB drive in total. AFAIK there's just the one partition - hope this helps :)

is the actual mem stick in the shape of the autbot logo or is it just the case?

Nice Christmas stocking filler, i have ordered one.
Thank you for posting.
Initial viewing on a given device must take place by 31.12.2010, very bad xmas present, unless you say "oh btw you must watch in the next week", sounds kind of cheap!
#32
good spot, heat added
#33
Thanks for the heads up - Ive ordered one for an xmas present. Great little extra present for my nephew.
#34
Awful film, hot deal.
#35
Good deal is it possible to play the movie on a DVD? heat added :D
#36
Ordered, thanks for clarifying Mac compatibility. Does anyone know whether you can you play this through the USB slot on a Sony S370 Blu-ray player?
#37
Awesome Deal OP, Just ordered one, great for course work and save program files in uni, autocad, revit etc etc and on top of that, a free movie, Thankyou for the great post

Although Ive not previously bought one of these, I do remember Googling the info on these a while back when they were posted in the past, and im fairly certain that Paramount struck a deal with Kingston to make these Flash Drives, and that the films took up around 900mb out of the 4gb available space on these. So I would imagine there would be still plenty space for you to use up before running out and having to delete the film.
I also remember some people querying it's weird shape and the possibility that it may be a awkward fit for some usb ports on devices they were looking to use it on. Im sure it comes packaged with a short usb extension lead to combat this possible problem for some people.

Been in need of a few different sized drives and after taking advantage of the Kingston 16GB on here the other day Ive also decided to take advantage of this great deal this time around.

Thanks, Heat added

Yes, this one is plastic as opposed to the metal Star Trek one.
