Good price, but after my experiance with DHL I would never use them again. They left £1000 worth of goods in front of my door without a signature from anyone.
I use http://www.parcelmonkey.com . People have good and bad opinion on them, but next day delivery up to 10kg for around 7 quid is quite good. Also, they use city link whihc I find so much better

No cold or hot vote from me here for DHL service

They dont just use citylink. they use all different companies including dhl. Ive found dhl the most reliable ( fastest ) delivery service. surely you would have been covered for the goods anyway if left at your door as you didnt sign for it. my guess is it was dhl @ home that left it rather than a fully trained dhl driver

Brilliant! May try and wack my items on ebay now and offer delivery, as I thought it was going to be out of peoples price range, but it isnt now SUPER!

Anyone know when this offer ends?

Give Interparcel a try. We use UPS via them all the time to send out refurbished IT equipment. They use a variety of couriers with varying prices, collect from your door and UPS will collect the same day If you book before 2pm.

Yes, they use DHL as well, but I always go for City Link and in my experience they are quite good. Sent around 25 parcels with them, always delivered on time and not damaged or lost even once. As I said, all depends on personal experience.

If I get delivery from someone and he is responsible for content insurance, fine. But if I have to pay for service that I don't trust and struggle with claims afterwards, I would never go for DHL, even if they offer to ship it for free. I’ve seen to many packages left in front of the door in our building.

DHL domestic doesnt really exist anymore, they have been taken over by HDNL, which is rebranding itself YODEL.

They can still use the name and equipment etc for another year i think.

Interparcel are a terrific company. I recently used them to return a printer with Home Delivery Network but HDN lost it. Interparcel did all the chasing up with HDN and then refunded the cost of the printer and HDN delivery charge themselves. Can't speak highly enough of their customer service and, as others have said, you get a choice of carriers and prices to send your goods.

Anyone know the insurance level on this please?

hi mate there are plenty out there for cheap delivery. parcelmonkey , parcel2go, myheermes is cheapest but not fastest and you pay extra for signature. sell anything via paypal and you need signature , thats for sure. As for the dhl, the person is right , it is personal experience. citylink driver mixed up 2 parcels when he added barcodes etc and took a week to sort out between recollections from the buyers to swap them. parcelmonkey dont have a phone number if i remember which caused delays too. where as with parcel2go and using dhl. I have send litterally 2000 parcels this year alone with dhl and dont remember one problem with them at all. and only maybe 5 taking more than 24 hours to deliver. I dont work for dhl whatsoever , i do sell on ebay and sell a lot. and someone might say , why dont you have a contract with them then? no need to have a contract when you can send at similar prices using these delivery resellers and quidco etc

Will give interparcel/ups ago next time. Parcel2go/hdnl have missed collections on at least 3 orders in my past 10. Also parcel2go have a long and worrying list of excluded items so getting any compo out of them maybe a challenge!
