Be aware that this isn't cordless as such, you plug it into the base plate to warm up, then remove it to use it whilst it's still warm, then place it back on the 'charging station' to heat up again. It's OK, but obviously stops working when it starts to cool down

I want one. Fed up of using Pritt stick on the kids homework projects.

I just picked one of these up. works really well. nice case and different nozzles. heats up fast and is really well made. only 3 glue sticks included but Lidl had a set of longer glue sticks for £3 so I got a pack.

glad I got it. thanks bigbigchilli

Your correct. But it can be used via the cable too :)

Perhaps a bit late to comment but I bought one of these and used it a couple of times then the next time I was in Lidl, decided to buy more glue sticks but although they had about ten glue guns, the glue sticks were out of stock - so I bought a load off eBay.

A few days later, I was doing some gluing and needed to swap the nozzle for the long one. After I started gluing again, the nozzle shot off and hot glue was squirting all over the place and I ended up getting burned. When it cooled down, I looked at the nozzle and the metal ferrule inside had actually broken in two and half was stuck in the glue gun - so I could not even use another nozzle.

I took it back to Lidl on Saturday but because they had sent them back to the warehouse as the promotion had finished, I was told that I could only have a refund; which I very reluctantly accepted after complaining that I was now stuck with 2kg of glue sticks and no glue gun.

I contacted Lidl customer services to complain that whilst I like their products, the way they run promotions means that if ever anybody has a problem after the promotion has finished, their options are very limited. I was then told that the shop should have told me to contact them first so that they could arrange for the supplier to contact me but because I had been given a refund - almost against my will - there was nothing they could do and advised me to wait until the glue guns were on offer again!

Meanwhile, I am half way through a project...
