I had posted a deal for another version of this vacuum cleaner without the integrated power switch when someone commented (see comment #7) on the existence of this variant with the integrated power switch. Have been waiting for one since.

Didn't these a year back go for 40-50 quid?

What could possible have happened in the past 12 months to drive the price up? confused ;)

Brexit. Price increases. That's what I here. Get used to it.

'auto on' looks like a good feature

looks like you plug your device in to it and when it senses a current draw it turns the vacuum on

Looks like they are trying to copy one of the high end Karcher models. I doubt its anywhere near the same quality.

Even allowing for brexit it still seems a large increase in price but still good value just not as good as it was previously.

My Wickes one just died after barely any use just when I really needed it. So just been and picked this up, its great. Large tank, very strong adjustable suction. And long warranty. Hose is a little flimsy feeling but everything else is good.

Looks like that one had a smaller tank and weaker suction.

I picked up one up yesterday and tested it with a sheet sander on the walls (This one). I plugged the sander to the cleaner and cleaner turns on as I switch the sander on and remains on for another 2-3 seconds when sander switched off. The suction is great and sucks in most of the paint dust. There are additional filters that can be bought for the fine particulate matter such as this which does not come with the original packaging.
There are also lots of hoses and attachements for various domestic purposes.
