Here's Lidl's pressure washer. Aluminium pump, so should be better than most Karchers I think.

Aluminium pump, 2100w motor, 450ltr/hr flow rate & 6mtr hose looks on face value to be better than the Karchers' in the same price range.

Anyone any experience with returning faulty goods to Lidl after, say 2 years....?

Recently bought some power tools from Lidl - Parkside brand. Having done some research I found that opinions of parkside brand were very favourable , even in the trade by tradesmen . Almost all their stuff is made in Germany, Switzerland, Austria or Czechoslovakia and come with 3 year warranties. These often are longer than most big name brands. As far as I'm concerned you can't go wrong with these parkside tools - from both research & personal use of them.

Yes, you have to return things to the manufacturer. They will only help instore in the first 12 months.

If it's like Aldi (probably is) they wanted me to return some faulty taps to Austria!
Got it sorted in the end but the store staff are not familiar with the law.

I'd trust this washer over a rotten, overpriced Karcher any day though. Great value.

Do NOT store a pressure washer in a shed or anywhere it can get frozen - some water remains inside and if it freezes it will wreck it!

Thanks, I know the legalities involved, my question was to anyone with experience of a faulty Lidl item after 2 years or so, going by post above (#5) albeit referring to Aldi) the last anyone wants is being given contact details of the manufacturer in Germany or wherever....

To clarify, this isn't about the actual washer itself, but the additional tools being sold at the same time (and in particular the adaptor they made to allow them to be used with Karcher pressure washers)
