No reason to vote this cold it is a fantastic bit of kit that runs through your car speakers and you can hear it easily unlike some visor/plug in type things!!! and it never needs charging!!!!

Hmmm it's not working with Firefox but it is with IE.

Yes, worked with IE.

Thanks op - was tempted by this at the original posted price at £58, but at £43.50 it's a superb deal.

Just have to find a fitter now...

I'll go with Halfords if it's £20...doubt a fitter would beat that.

They fitted my last one fine - will arrange it in the morning. If I get stuck i'll pm you bud!

You can either fit them ontop of the dash somewhere, ( ive got mine to the right of the steering wheel). Or you can get a Brodit mount which are vehicle specific. Just clip the mount onto the dash and fix the parrot to the mount with sticky pads.
#22
Dont forget guys you will probably need to buy an adaptor lead to fit it into your stereo around another £12

halfords charge £20 apparantly

According to halfords website they charge FROM £39.99 and I think they only fit items bought from them. They don't sell this model as it's a little older so wouldn't be able to pricematch unless you found one instore.

Best to check your vehicle application here http://www.parrot.com/uk/support/installationdiagrams

These guys will be able to supply wiring for most cars that routes the sound through the stereo and supplys power. All that's left to do is mount the main unit and run the mic. No cutting into looms ect required. I've used them before and they were very helpful.

Basically if you have standard ISO connections on the back of your radio it will fit with no need for an adaptor cable. So any Ford from about 2003 onwards and the new Vauxhall Astra (the year that came out) there is a chance you will need an SOT adaptor lead.
#29
These people give a good guide to whether you need an adaptor lead

Cheapest SOT-092 lead for Ford cars, such as a Focus is on Ebay.

Voted hot. Will this allow you to play your iPod/iPhone through your car stereo?
#32
These are great bits of kit, bought one from amazon last week and paid twice this price.

Fitted in about 15 mins, if your car has iso connectors the hardest part will be finding space behind your dash for all the extra wiring, otherwise it's practically plug and play.
#33
no ipod connection on this model its just for bluetooth handsfree
#34
Great deal, Thanks OP!
#35
These are great. I've got one in my Peugeot 407. It works without any problems. Very Hot!!
#36
I used to have one of these, they are easy to fit with ISO connection, sound quality is superb, and they automatically update the phonebook, showing the name of the caller, I now have an all singing/dancing satnav/bluetooth unit, but it is not a patch on the parrot, at £40-50 it is a bargain.
#37
how random, but i've just brought a new car (got it last night) and it had one of these fitted.

Must say, very easy to use, synced straight up to the iphone, recent calls/phone book etc. Good quality.

As it came with the car, can't say how easy it is to fit though.....
#38
I went for the mk6000 as its a newer model, supports audio streaming and can be had for £39 ! using the code

Parrot MK6000 Car Kit for £39 (50% off)
BASKET CODE: mk600050

same website but different link
http://www.orangeaccessories.co.uk/mk6000_bluetooth_car_kit.html?npc=21

Dont be afraid of fitting it yourself either, its seriosly simple if you buy the clip in ISO adapter (£10 ish).
Ive fitted them in a golf ,civic, ka, shogun, z4 and C30 without any probs, putting one in a punto on boxing day too. The only small issue I've found once was that the adapter I bought had the ignition wire and permanentr live the wrong way around so the hands free kit stayed on all the time, these wires contain inline fuses though so were very easy to swap around. Happy to help anyone if they get stuck.
