Patriot Xporter XT Boost 8GB - £8.99 delivered with code GMUK10AM (£9.99 without) @ GoMemory.co.uk
All I'm saying is this drive is faster than most & works out damn near the £1 per GB rate most other (far slower) USB flash drives are going for just now.
Next cheapest seller is Amazon for £10.85
People looking for a 16GB stick of fast USB memory could do worse than to look at targaids post on sunday for a Corsair Voyager for £17.70 here:

I know not everyone has USB 3.0 yet, but it is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and the speed is also very good even under USB 2.0.

USB3 Flash Drives are a gimmick. And there is a delivery cost with Saverstore.
And you are right that there is a delivery cost, but it is only £0.99.
Would I benefit much from swapping it for the Xporter?

exactly, 10mb/s write isn't that fast anyway.
seems the results varied from 5-17write so cant even make a proper judgement from the link.
