I know this has been on here before but it missed out vital points like it comes with free 1GB of usuage the start off with and no Limit on when you can use that usuage. SO put in cupboard for months then use when you need it.
Excellent Deal. I am a IT consultant and have never seen these before. These dongles alone are usually £40
When you buy this it already has the Sim card in it. No Need to register just plug it in and off you go.
You get 1GB downlaod with it which it does not state on website.
39.99 from Vodaphone.
There is no time limit when you use this 1GB. So you can use this for a couple of days then use it again when you go on hollidays in a month or 2.
You can also sell these dongles on ebay for £20 or £30. so if your netbook has a 3G sim card slot then you can make your money back.
This is great if you only browse the net now and then.
If you only browse the internet 1 hour a day and dont download music videos it will last you for over 2 months.
Top up is easy too. the software gives you the ability to buy more online using credit card or buy top up vouchers.
I recommend that if you only use this when you are out on the go and you have a promary internet connection at home turn off all your updates when on dongle to save your download limit

You need to use this once in a while (I think it's every few months or something) to stop it being disconnected as an inactive account (it's enough to connect open 1 web page then disconnect).

Vodafone works out most expensive per GB if you use the mobile BB a lot (£15 per GB) however as has been posted in the initial post the nice part about it is if you don't use it a lot then it works out cheaper as the credit doesn't expire after 30days (unlike the other networks)

Had a great laugh, garbage456 you're cracking me up surely an IT consultant should know how to spell and use correct grammar, you've hit the nail on the head.

The other thing to bear in mind is the content barring via Vodafone - several websites or pages on them can be barred, as I had this when trying to access a couple of pages on the BBC.co.uk (yes no porn was involved, before anybody starts asking! :-D) and to get that lifted I had to bring in ID via a local store, as registering online does not work.

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

The fact tha Vodafone don't time limit the data usage is very good, however, as already pointed out £15 for 1GB of data is very poor.

I am an occasional user and this is what I use. Its perfect for me since I only use it on the road for accessing emails and researching info. You need to use this at least once every 3 months to keep it active.

"I am a IT consultant and have never seen these before...."

You've really never seen these before!?

How can you be an IT consultant and not have seen these before?

More importantly how on earth can you advise on IT? you need to do some re training methinks..

Whether OP is an IT consultant or not does it really matter if he makes a few typos? This is about the deal.. not their spelling! No need to ridicule people, you probably wouldn't do it to his face.

As for the deal, I keep seeing this one, and as mentioned it's great if you use it for just checking email or the odd browsing whilst on holiday/out and about without net. £15 for 1gb might be high but if that lasts you months then it's bound to save you money, so ideal for some.

Agree, I purchased one via the previous Vodafone deal (good cashback via Quidco at the time) and it's very handy for on the move access; most of the places I've been to have been in the back of beyond but the GPRS coverage has been enough for me to log on & to reply to client emails.

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

I think Garbage456 as a name is probably correct for you. Do you think you are now "elevated" because you have a few dots next to your username? Like some others here, give the guy/lady a break. This is not HotUKSpelling !!!

Can you access prawn using one of these

Just like to say, this is brill for the low user. I have BB at home, Work, Parents but not at the mother in laws so I can hide away on the net by the window. Plus I bought it for when I went on holiday for a week (in the UK) so I could keep tabs on work e-mails, Hotukdeals etc... and then last week we lost internet at work so out it came again!!!

The conclusion is 2 things... 1) it's very handy just to have as a back up 2) I've had mine since June and I'm still on £12.78 credit... and I've used it loads I think!!!! 1Gb lasts longer than you think (unless you stream stuff and d/load film...)

I’m sorry
I did not realise that this was a English exam. Though I did type that long paragraph within 20-30 seconds flat. If you can speed type at that speed and get your spelling, and let’s not forget punctuation; We do need to be accurate don’t we when submitting deals then please drop me a email on how you can teach me. In the mean time you can keep you retarded underpaid profession of pointing out errors in individuals good will to put bargains forward to yourself.
Merry Christmas :stocking:
