1gb of internet per month for 6 months for £20.... with a free booster for signal - works out at 3.30 ish per month for 1gb internet for PAYG customers.
#4
I had signed up for this when it was 500mb/month. Do they upgrade the old booster automatically to 1 GB?

I have this. It's ok. Cheap access where ever you are in the UK.
#9
can this be used in a dongle

Pay as you go customer? If you have a compatible phone, you can text 6MONTHWEB to 441 for free from your T-Mobile phone to buy our 6-month Booster giving you 6 months of unlimited internet browsing on your phone.

We'll send you a text to let you know when your Booster is ready to use. We'll start counting your 6 months straight away and we will let you know when your Booster runs out.

If you choose an Android phone, as it's always connected to the internet, once your Booster has run out you'll then automatically be charged up to £1 a day to browse the internet. See the legal stuff and fair use policy at http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/fup

You'll need internet coverage, check it at http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/streetcheck Remember that you can only use internet on your phone in the UK and you can't use your phone as a modem or use internet on your phone for peer-to-peer file sharing, or making internet phone calls.

This Booster comes with a fair use policy of 1GB a month. We'll monitor how much you send and receive each calendar month so that we can protect our network for all our customers. If you use more than your fair use policy amount, we won't charge you any more, but we may restrict how you can use internet on your phone, depending on how often you go over your amount and by how much.

are the phone sims any different to the mobile broadband sims for the wireless dongles?
#12
i've been doing this for a couple of years
#13
If you want to use this for a dongle, it's cheaper to buy 2 3Gb 90 days three sims of ebay, works out £14 for the same, the 6Gb total can be used any time over the 6 months (not restricted to 1Gb per month), and you're not breaking any T&C's. The 3G coverage of three is also better.

No, they're the same type of SIM :-)

I pay £20 for 6months of BB services too.. WELL cheap :D
#16
didn't realise the FUP was a gig.... was going to get a contract phone next but might have to reconsider and look for a sim free....
#17
SolidWarrior how'd ya manage that?

Anyone ?
#18
I'm using my t mobile pulse phone as a modem for my laptop with barnacle. My download speeds and ping for online gaming is better than my home broadband! (o2 on access package, no LLU in my area)
#19
I've done it for around a year now, as long as you have £20 topped up you just text 6MONTHBB or 6MONTHSBB I can't remember which is which or the number :(

#26
I thought T mobile reduced its FUP to 500mb (probably after merging with c***y orange)
#27
One thing about t-mobile internet....it's bleedin horrendous! I'm embarrased every time I have to show someone something because of the speed. And before someone says it area coverage...I live in London where it's supposed to be almost at it's "strongest". Never again! Voda nex time for sure

surely this is better????

Pretty useless if you own anything other than a blackberry though....hence BLACKBERRY SIM in the name...

Well on the famous auction site there is a seller that sells vouchers of £20 for £17.58 (every penny helps :-)
#32
Also!!!... if anyone can answer me this... can I use this booster for surfing with my dongle mobile internet?
it's not specified and it might be just for surfing on the mobile (not what I want).

It's not clear!!! think this is only for your mobile phone surfing (not be used for computer surfing)

I'm thinking of getting this 6 month internet booster from t mobile. Ive got a Sony xperia miro but im not completely sure about whether to get it or not! Can you do Skype calls with this and browse social networking sites and apps? Help me out guys
#36
How is Skype with this?
#37
Cheap!
#38
Still works.

Don't expect to be able to make Skype calls or essentially any VOIP usage now. T-mobile block such attempts unless you're on their most expensive monthly packages.
#39
Can you do this on ee of you have a ee sim ? Cause you can on orange but I keep getting error messages and don't take my money....
#40
Does anyone know if this still works on t-mobile - looking to replace my Son's "Free" T-mobile sim and this looks like a cheap way of doing it ...
