Glad you have a pulse

Got one of these recently from TJ Hughes in their "20% Off Everything!" sale for £40 - no top-up required!

Nice little phone - if you don't mind T Mobile's pink branding!

I unlocked mine with DCUnlocker for 10Euro - now working with Orange payg sim on Dolphin.

And no - Angry Birds doesn't run on it! Not with the stock ROM anyway.

It is cheap, but according to the reviews the internet is kind of a pain on the pulse mini. A decent screen goes a long way towards a good browsing experience, and this one is just too small.

Now if only they could put a 4" screen in a phone of this size..

i'm gonna get some reggae reggae sauce instead from the thread below

My wife has one, the screen sensitivity is appalling. It's also dreadfully slow. Beside those problems it's great!

Yes - you know the screen is going to be poor when you see a stylus is included! I didn't appreciate just how bad it is until I got myself an Orange San Fransisco!

But it's ok for messaging, although I find the default Touchpal keyboard is tricky and ugly. At least it offers the option of changing to the standard Android keyboard, which I find much better.

Tbh it doesn't look like a cheap phone if you install the big HTC analogue clock on the homescreen!

That just cracked me up in the context of the previous comments...

Nutter.

But in all seriousness, get an Orange SF instead (free to unlock and can run Android 2,2), or a proper full-blown pulse (mine is running Android 2,1 atm).

Yes - he's a really funny guy.

But I don't agree about the OSF. I've got one, and yes, it has a much better screen, and it's obviously faster for browsing and stuff like Youtube clips and BBC iplayer, but it costs almost double the price of this one and is no better for messaging, email and social networking.

You can Twitter and Facebook away to your hearts content on this phone just as easily as you can on an OSF. The MP3 player works just as well, and the radio is actually better - ok, it still isn't RDS, but you CAN rename the channels. And the camera has a flash!

Really just depends on what your priorities are - not everybody wants to watch TV on their phone.

Er, perhaps because this is £50 and people might not want to spend £90 on a phone?
