I was offered the above rubbish too today on upgrade but refused it.. 20gb for £20 is reasonable. was it retention or offer few weeks back?

Was a new contract with Vodafone last February

I went for this over Vodafone's alternative 20GB £22.20 p/m with Spotify/Now TV etc because I find EE's coverage is better (imho) and wanted to keep my loyalty (if it's good for anything who knows).

Yes, Vodafone give you 5GB more but only 4GB of the total usage is available to use in the EU. EE lets you use the whole 15GB.

I vote hot.

Edit: I also got 6 months of apple music.

I think you might want to double check this. I don't think the 15GB deal includes any EU roaming data, however the 20GB & 30GB sims that are on offer both do.

I just took this out over the phone and was told it was. 15Gb is the max EE allow for EU data usage, or so I was told. I will double check!

Edit: I checked with EE, 12GB of it is for use in the EU, still 3 x what Vodafone offer.

After reading EE website to me it looks like 500mbs eu data
#9
It's a retention deal over the phone. Not very clear in original post
#10
no EU data as this sim is an "essentials" plan

My plan is 12M Sim Max Plan with 12GB EU/UK + 3GB UK. Apologies if it's a different offer.

I was offered 20gb for £25 on an upgrade. No budging them down to £20 :/. I've cancelled my contact.

15gb & 500 mins is poor IMO especially 20mps speed. Existing loyal customers should get this cheaper.
There other ones of 20gb and 30gb are better speeds.

Existing EE customers can also take 10% off. Looks like the best EE 4G sim only deal in the run up to Black Friday. Still probably worth waiting just a few more days though...
