good deal, always useful to have a spare phone for emergencies

You can get this phone for around £10.00 from 3 website after quidco..
#5
does the skype work free overseas, or just on 3 network when in the UK?
Guess there's some quidco at Argos too

the free skype is from 3 mobile, so you can call free only while staying within 3 range in the UK.

No quidco, since you have to pay for it in store

~ £12 if you are lucky enough to get paid quidco from 3. Very likely it will just cost you £10 more.

Terrible phone - poor build quality and even worse software - i'd avoid it personally even for this price

I do agree that's not a great phone but it's not bad either, especially taking into account the price.I haven't seen better for £20.

+I don't agree that the build quality is worse than most phones under £30-40
+Battery life seems good
+Skype works great
+MP3 player with cheap expanding memory (microSD) is good too
+Camera (can record short films too) and screen much better than I expected

What is bad :
- texting, also chatting on skype is not a particularly pleasant experience ( :)) if you don't use T9 dictionary
- menu is not very intuitive although is quite clear and you can certainly get used to it

My daughter loves it, and £25 (phone + 4gb microsd card) is a great price, even though somebody going to use it for skype & as a mp3 player only.

anyone know if this can be unlocked on the cheap?

cheers

3 are ok to buy from online but the biggest problem is returning phones that are faulty or not wanted.you have to ring a premium rate phone number for a returns code then they send a bag for you to return the phone. once they have received the phone you have to ring them again to get your refund. then wait almost two weeks to get your refund in all over £8 for phone calls as they seem to keep you on hold when you ring them.
